I was genuinely surprised to see teenage Malificent and Hades. The actors did an amazing job portraying the characters and the chemistry of young love between them. Thank you for creating this amazing video of the characters' past and present.
hades as an teenage and as an adult looks incredibly, perfectly the same. but as Maleficent, almost cute but adorable. Maleficent and Hades are yet the Perfect and toxic married couple.
I really wished they shown more of kristin chenoweth as maleficent the one who played her in the first decendants movie gave her a villian song she was funny and iconic
I can get that Kristin Chenoweth is a big name and they probs didn't want to spend the money, but it would be nice to see her appear one more time, she didn't even return to make noises for her lizard form in the animated movie.
I wonder if it was actually Maleficent who left Hades but Hades pride has him spin it so he is the one who left. His reaction as an adult sems to suggest he still has feelings for Maleficent even though he finds her infuriating. i think whatever made Maleficent cold and evil shut Hades out with everyone else

So basically the story of Mal's parents are Story: Maleficent grew up at a normal school with Hades fell in love bla bla bla and then maleficent went somewhere else and found someone else but she decided to go back to Hades and it was hard for hades to get along with maleficent cuz she finally came back after years and maleficent could still be thinking about the other guy in her own movie, then eventually she gave birth to mal and wanted her to be evil like her but hades left maleficent and i think that's why maleficent said love is a waste of time or something. Then mal finally got to see her dad and turn's out that hades is actually good and not like her mother and hades is a protective dad while maleficent isn't.and yeah, that's the story (By the way this is my opinion)

They hired someone to play a younger Maleficent who looks exactly like Dove Cameron's Mal and it's really great.
I mean, her name is literally "Maleficent", but her mother shortened it since she wasn't deemed worthy of the full name.
