Great list! I'd also add animal figurines. We like the ones from Schleich. Yes, you can get wooden animals, but if your kid is like mine and has animals join her for meals, baths, and even diaper changes, plastic is more practical, not to mention cost effective.

We actually have plastic ones as well! My kids aren’t super into small world and especially animals so I never invested in a big wooden collection. I have my childhood Montessori animals and then Schleich that we thrifted :) I love that your babe can bring the animals wherever he/she goes! ❤️
