@@sandeepswain1429 Sir you don't need any special permission to visit IIT Bhubaneswar.. but when you enter the IIT gate the security will just ask to you to register your name , contact details and purpose of visiting.. That's it.. Then you can visit the campus.

They have constructed an 8 story hostel for all boys , how are they gonna utilise the remaining landspace, I don't see great planning here! Indore and gandhinagar are way ahead even after starting same time
Nah nah! That I can claim that based on only infrastructure IIT Bhubaneswar is ahead of other second generation IITs. Though, they don't focus on Academics well, also they don't know how to handle dual degrees still they have opened it for almost all branches. I have gone to Indore and Gandhinagar for internship purposes, so I can comprehend.

That's the major cons of this institute. They will cage you into their campus, with literally nothing inside it yet, and then if you plan to go to watch a simple movie then goodbye to your whole day! Sunday will be over like nothing.
