Calicut edt if you want to build a vlsi profile.
1st of all find curriculum of both branch and see ur area of interest whether u r able to co-relate with that or not
2nd ur main concern like whether u r planning for placement or higher studies
And both branch are very dynamic branch for present time but I think edt may be given Little bit more priority but it's totally my own thought

Which one to choose.
Actually All the mentioned option are good options for an electrical student.so you can choose any one based on ur subject interests and ur future aim.
But if you are okay to switch ur profile towards electronics then I may give little priority to vlsi branch for upcoming future and from placement perspective.
P.E is also a very dynamic and demanding branch for nowadays and you are eligible to sit in all the semiconductor company as well but if u can manage some transition then may go for vlsi if you are completely oriented towards placement and not for further any government exam preparation.

@@AdityaSingh-hq4kyIt really gives me real satisfaction when the purpose of video is get fulfilled and u r getting benifit from video session.
But one request from all of you that
It requires really a hard effort behind every video from choosing the appropriate guest , inviting the guest to upload the session.very few guest give positive response and one of the reason behind it that my subscriber is not huge so they don't get much excited to come on the channel
So just request from all of juniors is that plz make it huge by doing some favour towards me like plz share the channel to your college group,fb group, LinkedIn profile with caption like subscribe channel then it will be really helpful to invite any guest.I will be very thankful make it a good initiative channel to create more and more awareness to our society 😊

Electrical engineering students are allowed for Mtech in VLSI in NIT Calicut?

Nit Calicut don't allow for vlsi course through gate EE paper code.
From this year , EE are not allowed for vlsi

Don't have much specific idea but I will suggest you to find curriculum of both branch and see whether that are industrially demanding subject or not and u r inclined towards that or not

Gap matter for some of the company and not for some companies but those companies which allows, for that company u should have a proper justification for ur gap what did u do during ur gap

I've taken admission in SWE branch of DTU this year, but I am willing to withdraw my seat if I get a better college in CCMT.
