If you hit "make a request" when K.K. visits and starts his concert at 6pm, you can type the name of the song you want and he will play it like normal, and give you that particular song, so you don't have to wait for it randomly appear.
Fun fact: this is called Shōwa KK in Japan because it's based on Shōwa-era music (also why KK is modeled after 1930s-40s singer Taro Shoji). It was changed because the style of music was too obscure outside of Japan, and possibly also because it references a negative time in Japanese history in relation to WW2
You guys should look up Taro Shoji , he’s was a popular singer back in the old days in Japan...he wears round glasses with a side part (I am going to guess this KK portrait is an homage to him). He majored in Marxist Economics & his leftist viewpoints affected his early work life ... so they weren’t far off with naming this song KK Comrade. He got popular around the 30s & his music revived in the 60s.
@@Literally-Brian I always thought he was supposed to be Dmitri Shostakovich based on the style of music and general time period it sounds like it's from.
this song played right before tom nook charged me for my tent and necessities. I had a presumption he was going to try and scam me just from this song, and then it happened.
this implies that the ussr has existed in the animal crossing universe, including the events that it has engaged in. that means world war 2 happened there and tortimer may have damn well lived through it
I think this song is a reference to Dmitri Shostakovich, a Russian-Soviet composer that made many pieces that almost got him dead, for them being way too "cheerish" for the soviet union and gave capitalist feels, wich then lead him into composing a symphony that still inspires music today. It's a very intense piece, and you can kinda hear it in parts of Porky's theme (Mother 3). Screw the Soviet Union, long live Shostakovich.
In German it‘s called K.K. Freundelied which means K.K. Friends Song. Already as a child I loved which while imagining dancing friends to this song. Now as a an adult and communist I understand why I‘ve always loved ist.
what plays on your island when you seize the means of production from Tom Nook
that ussr Isabelle meme makes more sense
Our island.
Ah yes the most underated yet most amazing animal crossing song
same goes with k.k. steppe
no kk disco is the best underrated song

He do be a man of culture. Am currently trying to find this for my Slavic basement in animal crossing

You can only get a copy from him on the first song though. So make sure it's the one you want first.
Yes but you have to type it in exactly correct
If you type it in slightly wrong then he plays a random song
i've been playing kk steppe for like 3 weeks as it was the first song i bought, am i slav enough? i remember vibing to this song 24/7 in my NL town

i thought it was the ussr attacking Hitler k.k.
And the fact that the Amimal Crossing creators are Japanese.
So, this is a pre-enka style? I went through and enka phase and thought this song was really similar. I love it!
What do you mean “it was changed”? We’re listening to it right now
it referenced a bad time on japanese history related to ww2, so they changed it to soviet music and references?
Me and the Comrades listening to Comrade K.K while in war.
This version: a bit happier
Kk's version on guitar: sad
When you name yourself communism in animal crossing
I got the flag, the tune, I just need this
I made my flag the soviet union, have this song, all I need is the military uniform

I love this song's North American E-reader card so much. That card proofs that the Saint Basil's Cathedral exists in the Animal Crossing world.
This song is definitely one of my favorites thank you for posting this
Glory to Arestozka
In America you listen to music, in Soviet Union music listens to you
He looks like a WWII Japanese officer
as a marxist-leninist, i deeply appreciate this song.

Cringe
As a fascist, I appreciate it as well. Music has it's own ideals, but everyone from any ideal can appreciate it. Many socialist songs are amazing.
@@taylorhope4651 Yeah, totally cringeworthy. Let’s just appreciate this song for is East Slavic influence, regardless of extreme ideology.

Okay but why do he have a Hitler cut 😭
That is a popular haircut and dress style from the early Japanese Showa era. The name of this song was originally Showa KK.

I don't know why, but this song sounds so similar to the "Cola Song" by INNA featuring J Balvin. 😄
The game knew I am Russian when it gave me this song as my first one
Who else bought this song as their first

Sounds like those instruments with the face on it, what was it called? An Omotane or something?
An otamatone. I actually have one. Now that you said that, I actually hear it. It sounds like one.

Can anyone point out the reference of this album art.
TÔNKIN du 4VN showa era japan (ww2 era)
I think he’s supposed to look like a showa era emperor, but i forgot his name.
Avalon Mandrake Contrary to popular belief its supposed to be a popular singer of the time, not hirohito (the emperor)
In new horizons they changed the cover of this for some reason lol
How is the new cover?
Need to ask kk for this song and then give it to vladimir hahahah
