  • Hi crafty friends,
If you would like to get your crafty space organized, get some new ideas, and have fun along the way, we would love for you to join us in our monthly TH-cam hop, taking place on the last Sunday of the month. A group of crafty friends have been getting together monthly to share their storage tips and organization ideas for that month’s selected Crafty Item(s). This month’s hop focuses on all types of PAPER EMBELLISHMENTS. It will be so fun to see how other crafters organize these supplies in their craft space. Hopefully you’ll get some new ideas that will be useful for your own craft space organization.

Great video! I love the idea of using the canvases as dividers.

Thanks so much, Kim, for checking out my video. I was using cut shipping box card boards for a long time, but it doesn't work as well as it is still too soft. So when I saw how cheap Dollar Tree 8x10 canvas was, it was a no-brainer. Did you have a chance to check out the rest of the youtube hop videos? Hugs, Rosalie 🥰

@@cantwait_2planI have watched most of the videos - I’m still catching up, but I’m definitely finding great ideas and inspiration.

So glad. Other youtubers on the hop have different ideas for organizing the same types of products, so I always find it fun to watch the other youtubers videos on the same hop. Do you make cards, scrapbook, or involve in other crafts? Hugs, Rosalie 💝

I used to scrapbook, but now I’m mostly into cardmaking.

Thank you so much. I’m dealing with embellishment overload. I’ve been fussy cutting a lot. I really appreciate your well organized video and your system is great! How many bins do you currently have? Where do you store your bins? I have theme cubes for things like family, kids, birthday, outdoors, Halloween etc. The ephemera is not very orderly. Doing this and putting them on a ring would make it so much easier to fit in the cube, and to look through my goodies. All the miscellaneous stuff (flowers, sayings, tabs, hearts etc) would work great in your basket storage idea. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks so much, Scrapping Grandma, for watching my video and for your sweet comments. So sorry for the late reply. Talking about embellishment overload... you and me both! I even have to stop going to Dollar Tree as I tend to pick up all the new stickers they have every time I go. Who can resist at $1.25/pack? For paper embellishments, I have everything stored by themes, not by colors. I have about 15 Target white bins and 6 deep PAX drawers. Eight of my white bins are stored in an old cube organizer (similar to IKEA KALAX) I bought from Target or something like that. It is a bit smaller than the KALAX cubes but still fit these white bins. The other white bins and the deep drawers are stored on the IKEA PAX wardrobe shelving system. I still have quite a few 2-inch binders with older paper embellishments that I haven't had time to finish sorting out. I do store many embellishment by collections, so those get stored in my collection sleeves. I think I covered this in video 1 of this Let's Get Organized series (on my Organization play list). Please check it out if you'd like to watch how I do that. I wish you lots of luck in your organization endeavors, Scrapping Grandma! Feel free to ask more questions (in youtube comments or with Facebook messages). I'm Rosalie Duong on FB. Big hugs, Rosalie 🥰
