Thanks for this awesome tribute to my favourite rail/commuter station. Lived in Chateau Rive, Peekskill in the late 80's and loved my NYC commute. The locomotives are different, but it's cool to see they've kept the cars looking they way they did. Also REALLY LOVE the way Peekskill Station has been preserved. I left before they raised the platform, but other than that, the place looks the same - nice and quaint!
31:15 MNCW 849 , 32:01 MNCW 853. 851 was late so 853, the next super express was head of him, the daily super expresses on the regular weekday schedule are, inbound: 818, 832, 836. Outbound: 849, 853, and 863.
I love this video with all my heart as a railroader! I have so many models in HO SCALE on some of these fleets of P32 & P42 GENESIS DIESELS, The Amfleet cars endless! All the Comet/ Horizon cars on Metro North except the 2 center door cars I have only 1 in New Jersey Transit custom built. None otherwise are available by any manufacturer as of this writing! I also have the Horizon cars in O SCALE N.J.T. & METRO NORTH as well! Yours and many of your colleagues that video these many trains are simply the best & this viewer thanks you! 🚧🚥🚄🚃🚃🚃🚄
Why is it the consist and some locomotives on the Hudson line carry the New Haven and Connecticut paint scheme? They are seen far more in New York than in Connecticut.
Maybe the Hudson Line simply needs more diesel equipment than the New Haven Line? The Hudson Line runs diesel trains on a more regular basis than the New Haven Line would be my guess.

How long were you here?

as well as amtrak 716
Im an avid weather fan too lol
Do any trains actually use track 4?
What’s with the New Haven livery?
Some of the locomotives and passenger cars are used on the New Haven Line. Metro-North uses whatever equipment they have available.
6:15
Lmao at 4:53 horn scared shit outta you
no passenger equipment from the train to beacon from GCT.
Wait what? Sorry
Railfanning Meteorologist Productions train 851 terminate beacon goes to GCT as equipment
