It’s better to live by yourself bro trust me. Find activities that you enjoy doing by yourself. I consider myself a very social person but I recently cut all of my friends off because they’re toxic as fuck for me and I’m loving living in solitude. No one to worry abt but myself and self improvement. Go to the gym, go on nature walks, do anything that makes you happy. Sometimes I just go on 5 hour rides on my Kawasaki and it feels so fucking freeing…. Learn to love yourself and your own company.

I remember asking him in rizzos live stream if he could make a dodgeball map and he said he was in works of one and it would be out in a week or two, that was about 9 months ago lol
This mode designed around Gridiron would be awesome; you could actually grab the ball and throw it at other players.
Just my thinking also. Too catch, you have to be airborne and flip into the ball maybe. Could be a great mode too add

It would be cool if you get a reset on the opponent’s ball, they blow up
That would be dope, idk if that's remotely reasonable to do with normal map making, though. Maybe with a mod, but I'm not familiar with mod creation.
And you get a teammate back, but also for lower ranked players a goal can bring back a teammate
And randomly spawn
What if when you get a flip reset off the opponents ball you bring your teammates back to life. I know I'm getting technical but would be cool. Looks super fun though!
And gets the person who hit the ball out, like a catch in regular dodgeball

Petition that we become Dodgeball as a current Gamemode?
Would it be possible to make it so the balls spawn in as neutral and remember the team it last touched? Then after a set delay, it returns to neutral again. This would make it so teleporting of the balls isn't needed. A bit more options for different plays open up.

Another really cool option for post death spawns could be like how in some volley ball style games you are allowed to be on the outside of the play zone and try to redirect shots

I wish rocket league would expand on the ball play, different gamemodes would be sick in standard rl
I've been friend with CommyCow for about a year or so, play RL with him all the time, I got to play the dodgeball map with him both in testing phase and when he released it, and now I see this. Amazing! :)
should add spikes that recharge every 10 or 15 seconds to include the catching the ball aspect of the game.. love it though.. looks really fun 👍🏻

I think it's more fun to hit the ball because it practices passing/shooting mechanics, but I would like to see this: balls do not respawn, there are constantly 4 balls floating around, and they turn a team's color after they are hit by that team. When they hit a player WHEN opposite their color, they demo the person, but after 1.5 seconds they turn "neutral." The 1.5s neutral bit is key. I think if they turned neutral after hitting the ground, like real dodgeball, it wouldn't be fun. The 1.5 seconds would give the ball enough time to hit a player but also short enough allow the other team to recover it and fire it back. It's also timed like a jump, so easy for players to get the timing down. Also, it being changed to neutral means the team NEEDS to hit it to turn it to their color. If it automatically turned the other teams color after a period of time, the balls could just demo a person without anyone hitting it purposefully. If none of this makes sense, I wouldn't be surprised.

Leth I just had an idea, normal rocket league but the 100 boost pads have a 50% chance to demo you and the small pads have a 10% chance. Basically like mines are mixed in with boost pads.
Remember the 5 Ds of dodgeball.
Dodge, dip, duck, dive, and dodge.
What if the balls were shared but you could "catch" them? So if you jump and turn so the ball hits under your car, it slows the ball down and lets you make incredible block and catches plays :o

This would actually be better with no ball re-spawn, just 4 balls, and a normal map, minus the goals ofc :)

@@iinciner8 this would probably need some ajustement like the ball disapear if caught so you dont just die and also once activated spikes dont last long at all so you have to be clutch with the catch.

Recommendation is you can use spikes and release and to catch a ball you use spikes before you get hit.
