Their biggest collaboration yet is Universal Studios Japan x NiziU, they'll be having a collab song called FESTA, it will be played all around the Amusement Park I wouldn't be surprised if they will be the first JYP artist to sell 1 MILLION copies on a single album, their debut single sold 425K in just 3 months, they literally OUTSOLD every 4th gen kpop group, JPOP groups are bound to sell well but the only girl groups that can sell well are 48/46 groups and no one else, soon NiziU is gonna join them!

And Sony Mgt handles Niziu in Japan w/c is also the handler of Sakamichi Series. See, Niziu has all the upper hand that Twice, AKB48, & Nogizaka46 didn't have when they started so it was a no-brainer that Niziu is quickly rising. And also, I'm pretty sure that Niziu will either do a handshake or high-touch event once the pandemic is over. Twice did high-touch event in case you didn't know so Niziu might do the same thing. And with NiziU being younger it almost makes more sense but the idea behind the comment was he said it wasn’t what he liked, but it was for those other songs - hence the confusion. I’m not saying “you have to like this because blah” or “if you don’t like this then you are blah” I’m just saying it was an odd comment after him liking this style of music many times in the past, unless like I said he perhaps said those words to appeal to fans while growing his channel earlier on. Their songs are very much like Twice B-sides from their cute phase and some of the members individuality has been sacrificed in favor of group uniformity. The video is done for Japanese tastes with bright lighting and heavily saturated colors. I really like the members especially since I followed them all through the Nizi Project, but I've moved on from this kind of music to Twice in their mature concept and Dreamcatcher's rock based sound. I watch NiziU when they have new MV's but I don't follow them. We saw them do other concepts during the Nizi Project so I was a little disappointed to see them just doing cute, but it's not really surprising. JYP said they were going to be a 'world group' but they're clearly designed for the Japanese pop music market.
Japanese taste? niziu is a typical Korean style. There is no such style of girl group in Japan. If the Japanese had this taste, there should have already been a girl group of this style in Japan.
