Seeing you lose to Thresh in a 1v1 as Kassadin was the saddest moment of my life
It was funny as hell though
To be fair, you gotta come in stacked as Kassadin to be able to beat a tank like that.

1st: Kass was lvl 13 Vik was lvl 15
2nd: Vik was significantly more fed, item wise.
3rd: He didn't one shoot him, he did kill him with his ult instantly when he was like 3/5 hp.
It was the situation when they were doing Baron, if Im wrong send me link of the vid ur referring to. Imo, kass scales better late game, with full items I don't see other mages killing him, ofc it's a skill matchup as well.

You're compared against other people playing that champ, in that role, on top of total gold and objective score. It's easier to get an S on a champ that either isn't popular or playing a champ that's not common for that role (i.e. It'll be easier to get an S playing some off meta champ in an odd lane than to play a meta champ in a meta lane... Provided you're not being an actual potato).

Kass is nerfed by his lack of power before high level and rabadon.
Even though crown and zhonya helps him a lot to survive, he dies off any ability in the game without.
He also can't challenge some champs because they burst hime even faster than he does.
Kass sucks ass tho? Instead of complaining about kassadin, complain about yone, an actual abomination
