what are you people talking about? bert did an excellent job. the verses were iffy at times, but he hit all the high notes brilliantly, while still having fun on stage. like he always does.
This is Burt destroying his voice before our very eyes and ears, in the most magnificent way possible. Such a creative way to use ones voice, as throughout the song it changes in sound due to the stress on his vocal chords, but as this is happening it sounds brutal in a way contrasting the emo genre and adding a shit ton of emotion, no pun intended, to the feeling of said vocals at the same time.
so post hardcore the lyrics that they use are very deep and introspective I mean emotional so i think that they are emocore and by the way postHardcore is like the father of emo and punk subgenres =)

Im so sick of people making excuses for musicians and their "problems." Truth is, people pay har earned money to see their favorite bands play, and with a performace like this, I would be pissed!! no excuses. The Used have made millions of dollars and IMO theres no exscuse. You either bring it every time, or go the fuck home.
I think its hard to be singer in a band like this cause you need to change between shouts and clean singing in high tones. Its nearly impossible to hit every note if you´re a shouter most of the time.I know this because i´m in a band to and for that it´s a great performance so dont fuck em up because he doesnt hit every single note in this fuckin brilliant song!
but they are very different to Misfits, The Ramones and Green Day they are not even related to Blink182 or Sum 41 or +44 THEY ARENT PUNK DAMNIT maybe some kind of core...

This song aged well. Here I'm ~15 years later i first listened to The Used. Amazing band and Bert always has a great performance.
