Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway flyover - October 2023

Lots of exciting changes to see on the latest flyover of Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway! Since the last flyover in August, the form traveller has been installed on Pier 1 at Parahaki Bridge, allowing construction of the superstructure (the part of the bridge the road goes on) to commence. Bulk earthworks are nearing completion, with just 250,000 cubic metres left, while pavement construction continues on finished sections.
