SMT is a lot of fun, and SMTV: V shows that the future is very bright for this series!
If we can somehow get a story and vibe like SMTIV, with the addictive gameplay of SMTV, SMTVI will be a banger!

hello Mike, thanks for this review - nice one. Save anywhere any time on a console? Kudos to the devs. Graphics look good, too. Not my cup of tea this game but I do appreciate your reviews :) Have a nice weekend and see you on the next one.

Thanks Art! Haha I figured this game wouldn't be your cup of tea! Definitely more for us JRPG folk. See ya on the next one :)

TLDR: vengeance is an outright upgrade to the original release with the “vanilla” game even being removed from stores.

It and Persona both use the press turn system, so I can't agree they're 'totally different'.

They’re totally different just similar in gameplay and enemies(even though they are not real in the real world)

Only the final bosses are real

      Talking about Persona

Best way to compare Persona and Mainline SMT:
Persona focuses on story over gameplay
SMT focuses on gameplay over story.
You see this a lot in Persona for example, you have to get through long drawn out sections of the story to get to the gameplay parts
Where as SMT is the opposite, the story bits go by fast and you spend a lot of time in the gameplay.
