    We just got our first RV a few months ago and that smell is just horrible. It just started and I wasn't sure if it's sewage or mildew but I belive it's mildew and it makes sense, in the mornings are windows are all fogged up. I appreciate your video (so glad I found you) and all the comments are so great, some people mentioned OZone which I have used before in a cabin to get rid of bugs and spiders for a friend. I will order my own!! Much love and Happy RVing!!!

    They closed our KMart a few years ago and my wife still complains about it. She would love that badge. Good video and good to see you also.

    Good tips. I use vinegar to clean everything. Works great. I spray the cushions, and leave them in the sun. Need to be careful with breathing the fumes in though. Be safe.🙂👍

      @@davesrvchannel4717 LOL, true. The smell does go away tho. I've poured a lil Fabuloso in the drains too, works ok.

    hello from the wet ozarks dave! great to see you back again. you have been missed. i use my o2 generator to kill everything inside. we use them at hospitols to clean the air after some nasty chemical was dropped on the floor and also used to prep a room for surgery. i keep mine on a timer so i know when to enter the camper and air it out to be safe to breath inside because the generator removes all the oxygen inside the camper or car. used car dealers use them too. tight lines dave!

    Hi Dave! I don’t know if you will see this, but I’m just wondering how you are doing. I think of you often. I remember you saying that you might give up on TH-cam. So if you see this, could you just let me know if you’re ok? Thanks and take care, Dave.

      How sweet. Thanks so much for thinking of me. Me and Muppy are doing well. Right now we are selling on the worlds longest yard sale. It goes from Bama to Canada. All is well. Hope things are going good for you too??

    I bought a used camper-10 years old-had roof leaks. I have repaired and sealed entire roof. Washed all walls, ceiling, cabinets, floors-EVERYTHING! Flushed all tanks several times. Shampooed carpet, removed mattress and replaced sofa. STILL have a strong smell in the camper. Oh, and I have "Damp-Rid" product in the camper. I am about to store it for the winter(my first winter storage). Any suggestions on how to make it smell some what better ?

      We had a persistent smell for years in our RV. Finally my husband pulled the cooktop and cleaned everything! Under, around--all of it and the cut-out in the counter. That did the trick. Smell was finally gone.

    • @annastaffhorst115
      @annastaffhorst115 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Jennieallen415 Thanks for the idea. However-when we bought our camper it was a MESS!! I mean, just filthy!! The people that had it didn't clean much. I am a CLEAN FREAK. I tore apart everything. Including the stove. I crawled into the under storage compartments and washed everything. I even crawled under the camper-laying on cardboard-and washed all the dirt and spiders off. I'm in Michigan and have been in and out of the camper a few times since it has been put away for the winter. The smell is not as bad. Fingers crossed its gonna be ok for the spring.
