I’m at the point in life where if I want to see an artist, I need a chair with a good view, easy access to a bathroom and preferably an inside venue lol. I’m getting old…
As an old metal dude the best way to enjoy a festival is with proper sunscreen, hydration, seating and from the edge of the crowd where you can see and feel the music without excessive crowds interference. 😁
I’m right there with you. I’m 57, on the day of the festival. I still love rock and even some punk rock, but the days of fighting the crowds, the heat and walking all day are behind me.

Cool video Adam. I'm 57, you're never too old for good music. I'm surprised you didn't mention the Jane's debacle that happened yesterday. Best concert of my life was Jane's Addiction with the Rollins Band opening in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom in 1990.
You will be cringe tho. (I am torn on this Tho. On one hand the culture and setting is not for old people and the presence of old people often detracts from the value for the young people. But on the other hand live music is special so I can sincerely understand why you would still want to attend)

Your not alone Adam. I started going to shows when I was 16 way back in the 80s. I went to 50 or 60 shows a year for around 30 years, the majority being at First Avenue in Mlps. Around age 50 I found that I didn't have the same feeling about going anymore. You've broadened your horizons and grown as an individual, I say good for you.
I went and saw Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid this week. I got front row balcony seats and that helped!!! My only gripe being in my forties was it was waaaay too loud.
40s? HA! See you in ten years. I never played or thought lIke I was old when I was in my 40s, but you Millennials looove to think you're so old and wise. ahah
If you plan on going to more shows I recommend looking into buying a set of earplugs meant for concerts, they have a noise filter in them that allows some noise through just at a lower decibel. Brings down the volume a bit, and cuts out that harshness you can kinda get from it being to loud, but it doesn't sound muffled like the cheapo foam plugs.
That was a great catch with the lightning at the 25 minute mark. As for the "getting old" part, I've seen a few people in my family go the other way, attending more concerts when they are older. I've definitely gone the other way, but it's mainly going out in general isn't as appealing, plus the cost of some things makes me not want to go.
I went to an all day emo festival with my then gf who is about 4 yrs younger than me. Inland empire and it was over 100 and humid. She couldn’t understand how I was dying. I’m old foo. I was experiencing heat exhaustion and I went to stand in the shade and eventually sit in the car. She did not check on me ONCE. I didn’t see her until it was time to leave. I broke up with her shortly after.
🎶🎸🥁 Thanks for taking us backstage. I like that punk rock Disney album that just came out. I know that is more main stream bands but it is fun hearing Disney covers that way.
My teenage years were in the 70’s so it was rock concerts for me. Back in those days you could go to Anaheim Stadium and see 4 bands for about 20 dollars.
@TheDailyWoo that's why I said one of the best, that's why they were the last band for that big of a show. I think that should yell you where they stand. They put on a great show and pretty much every song is a hit, plus for blink 182 to want matt should tell you. Even Tom said he had changed his songs up because of how good Matt's songs were
Welcome to 50 my friend. After my husband got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer we stopped going to the front at shows. Now we have slowed our concert-going all together. Would rather spend the money on Disney trips. 😂

Welcome to your 50s Adam... where quality of life and seeing and meeting the people that you like and respect means more than standing in a field all day waiting to get rained on lmao. Very cool you got to go up on stage and to the green room and meet the bands again. Awesome lightining. That one that streaked across the sky was one of the best I have ever seen. Punk in the Park isn't doing the flagship 2 day festival in Silverado, CA this year because the same promoters are doing the final NOFX shows, which is a 3 day festival in San Pedro in just a few weeks. But they do a great job at ensuring the fan experience avoiding bands sets overlapping. If only the No Values festival at the Pomona Fairplex earlier this year implemented something like that. The two main stages overlapped set times, so for instance 15 minutes into Sublime's set Bad Religion started their set at the other main stage. No Values was over priced and poorly organized with poor set time planning and a lack of parking staff. But hey , the OG Misfits played
I'm with you there Adam. I've stopped going to concerts entirely because I get so physically exhausted after 2-3 songs, especially if it's standing room only. Refusing to give up on theme parks though despite my legs and hip paying for it the next day.
Thanks for the videos as always. So many memories of visiting my family out in Orlando so hopefully I'll get to return again someday but in the meantime your content keeps me well informed about the parks and many attractions. My uncle was a bus driver for WDW so we did have some benefits in all honesty but he's been retired for quite awhile now which is very much deserved. I use to attend shows of my friends bands as well so it's nice that we do have a lot in common. Glad to support and share.
Although I am only 25 years old, I hold great admiration for older punks. My father, who grew up in Southern California, was very involved in the SoCal Punk scene. The movie "Suburbia" starring real punk rockers not actors, the lifestyle of actual punks in SoCal during the 1980s. As a child, my father introduced me to punk rock he saved his punk vinyl collection and passing it on to me. The first bands I listened to were Crass, Subhumans, Circle Jerks, Black Flag, ST, and I became obsessed with The Return of the Living Dead soundtrack and movie. Adam is technically my father's age and they're still alive and loving life

Being an East Bay kid, I feel that I was brought up at all day festivals. I’m trying to remember if I ever saw Guttermouth live. With so many stages, and other things happening, it all gets blurry. I mostly remember a lot of Rancid, and the festival I missed. I should have skipped work at Golfland and gone to Free Tibet, saw Beastie Boys and Total Devastation, where fatties were being thrown off stage. Oh! I also remember Flogging Molly, and all the kids on shoulders that knew all the lyrics, and how all the parents got them outta there before Cypress Hill’s set started, thank goodness. I’d go to another one tomorrow, and I’d take my adult kids, because this is their music now. And just to cause trouble, Woodstock 99’ was the beginning of the end and now we have Coachella. I said what I said.
Today I have a overcast day of whatnot to doo😊 but first I SHALL join my buddy, say it isn't so, Adam is getting too old for punk rock shows, Adam the Woo!! 😎

It always gets me at the etiquette in the midst of a mosh pit. When someone goes to the ground there's always someone there to help you get back up and quick to throw a punch after... 😆 Adam, you really should consider starting a garage band with Justin and vlog the journey. Scarred Woo or The Woo and the Scarred or The Woo Tang Clan
Hey Neighbor! Since you’re going to be in Orlando in October, you should catch the opening night of the ORLANDO MAGIC’s 36th season on Oct. 25th! Or come to one of the two preseason games on the 11th or the 18th! It’s going to be a great time to be a Magic Fan!
First time ever seeing Punk Rock Bands. Very interesting! Yay for the Rays!! Thank You for taking us on this adventure!! Say Hello from me to Big The Foot. Looking good with the shirt & loving the beard & mustache just as it is! Looking very handsome!! Love the way too you are wearing your hat!!
I went to No Values Festival in Pomona, CA, this June and yeah, that was a long one. Couldn't find the car for about an hour, but seeing The Misfits was worth it. I just saw Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas at SoFi Stadium. Pretty cool, but I was at the top of the place and the sound wasn't so great. I kind of prefer, at forty nine, to be in a seat rather than the pit. Got my fill of that and have nothing left to prove!
Your love for punk rock music is the perfect excuse now to seek out the rare vinyl recordings of your favorite bands! It's part scavenger hunt, part nostalgia, part record shop/flea market snooping and it can help scratch that urge to get in the pit and ki!!/love someone. Plus, you need a new Challenge goal ahead of International Woo Launch 2025. ❤✌🌮
Hey Adam, I'm seeing "The Exploited" in FT Myers in October!! I'm older than you and I ain't too old!!! I'm just happy that people still care and do these events!!!
I caught one of NOFX’s final shows during the Punk in Drublic shows. Yeah, I can’t do those all day fests anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so happy I got to see them one more time…but my body wasn’t as happy.
Hey ATW, Great vlog, love seeing concert footage. But your only a few years older than me and as an avid concert goer, I probably attend roughly 20-30 shows/ festivals a year, almost always in the pit and I love it, I could never imagine leaving a show early. As a Born& Raised Floridian I really think your take on the FL heat is a little much, sure it's humid but it's nothing unbearable like the heat out West. But to each there own, Love the Channel, keep up the good work! 👍
I just watched a short video of Metallica, at a deli, singing with staff, head banging, it was a pretty awesome random thing. I’m sure you got lots of good memories from your band days too. AC/DC Brian Johnson wrote a book, I enjoyed reading it.
As we get older, some of us get less social and would rather listen to our music at home or in the car. 😂 But if you’re an old metalhead, it’s okay to be with other old people and raise a beer in the crowd at an Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or Metallica show. 🤘🏻

Haha i didnt think anyone else knew Stephen wright! Love him, my sense of humor..well I'm old too, just turned 55, welcome to the next chapter 😂
Adam, really enjoyed your video. Looks like you had a good time there! Looking forward to your next vlog.
Today I have a overcast day of whatnot to doo😊 but first I SHALL join my buddy, say it isn't so, Adam is getting too old for punk rock shows, Adam the Woo!! 😎
I used to be a professional fighter. Not the same, but when I go back in the dressing room at a pro fight, I want to get back in that ring even as old as I am
I feel old after chasing my kid around the festival all day. Was an awesome surprise running into you and getting to chat for a second.
PS not getting old. It's just your priorities have changed.
What's the point of even doing this video? If you can't even play the music! 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Because I film what I do every day that’s why
I got too old for punk rock when I was about twenty! That's why I shaved my head Oi!!!!!!!!! Boots on the ground
You are correct on your Freeze history, & yes he smokes Barker's ass. Most recorded drummer in all of rock, & now Grohl's drummer for a reason.
Adam keep making these videos ,
Loved it , remember you’re really tired still from your road.trips , Get Some Good Rest. . Thanks for going and posting. #Punk🖤
It always gets me at the etiquette in the midst of a mosh pit. When someone goes to the ground there's always someone there to help you get back up and quick to throw a punch after... 😆
Adam, you really should consider starting a garage band with Justin and vlog the journey. Scarred Woo or The Woo and the Scarred or The Woo Tang Clan
Punk grunge was so popular in high school, I remember when mostly everybody dressed like punks
My Uncle is in his 50s and loves punk rock so you are not too old. He still goes to punk rock concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
You are such an active person… and so so many fun things. What a life! It’s incredible. You don’t seem to have slowed down at all!
Can I get an anarchy burger? Hold the government please!
Not aure if I would be out in the heat/humidity all day and evening for that. Usually doesn't cool off in central-south FL until Dec/Jan
I can smell this video.
😂
I miss the punk rock life , but my body didnt age as well as the spirit!
That's a pretty good lineup of bands. The casualties are my favorite of the list. They are great live.
Sick lineup for sure
Good morning Adam, great FL video of the Punk Rock Festival..Stay cool, rock on and enjoy your day.
Thats cool your old band buddys let you come backstage
Dude, this brings back memories myself. I play the bass. And drums also and guitar. I played in a punk rock band in 1998 in a battle of the bands.
Been to many punk rock shows. Good times. But now I look at that crowd and everyone is old lol. Good video!
Hey Adam, I'm seeing "The Exploited" in FT Myers in October!! I'm older than you and I ain't too old!!! I'm just happy that people still care and do these events!!!
Gotta cut off freedom. At a punk rock show no😂
Rock on Adam, great vibes Punk was wild back in the 90's now younger kids are smashing in to old school tunes because the music of today is so bad.
I caught one of NOFX’s final shows during the Punk in Drublic shows. Yeah, I can’t do those all day fests anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so happy I got to see them one more time…but my body wasn’t as happy.
Never to old Adam. I’m a year older than you and still go to night clubs for all nighters. Embrace getting old, don’t let it wear you down.
You can’t be serious.
Reminds me of The Revolution days in Ft.Lauderdale.
As we get older, some of us get less social and would rather listen to our music at home or in the car. 😂
But if you’re an old metalhead, it’s okay to be with other old people and raise a beer in the crowd at an Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or Metallica show. 🤘🏻
You are getting old when you hear your high school songs on the oldies station
