They like it.. There's been a few issues here and there they had to work out as these loaders were custom built for operation in Louisiana. They usually build these loaders for export only, so their engines don't meet emission requirements.. They had to custom fit these with tier 3 engines. Deere originally didn’t want to do it.. but after asking for quite some time they finally agreed.
Deere builds these loaders for export only, usually to South American countries, I guess with Deere it's all about the numbers. They'd probably sell a few for Louisiana, but not worth it to them to build them regularly. The engines they put on them do not meet USA emissions requirements. They had to be custom built to fit these tier 3 engines. It was quite a fiasco from what I've heard. Deere didn't want to build them at all but eventually agreed after these two farms asked them long enough.. I know Deere said they won't build anymore for Louisiana . It's cool to me who's been watching cane loaders my whole life see one in Deere colors. I usually try to see one of these loaders every year, this year I managed to catch both !
Great video as always, - I wondered where the 'eye in the sky' had gone. Unique machines for the US from Deere - at least engine wise. Obviously these farms have no intention, - (at the moment), of using the 'pellet' method for seeding. Missing the birds - is it the breeding season and they are somewhere else, or is it just a case of they can't be everywhere at once.
hi this is cool..i am a sugarcane truck driver from Indonesia.....
