@@aromanticfranziskavonkarmaheyy if you’re still looking for recommendations i highly suggest stuffed animals, small plushies and everything like that! You wont get bored and they turn out so cute! Thats how i started and it turned out really well :)
The way you explained the foundation chain at the start was the first instance I've fully understood how it works - thank you for that mental breakthrough! And can't wait to try this pattern
OMG! I love the Math. 😍 I have watched soooo many YT tutorials and this is the first time I watched someone actually gave a computation for getting the right size. So happy I found you. 😍
i managed to add some shaping to the arm holes of mine if anyone else wanted a loose fit but without making little "sleeves"! just loop two stiches (the chain 4 spaces) together and single crochet through the loop. i found that decreasing twice on two rows, then once on each row until i got down to the width i wanted worked fine great pattern btw very simple!
i just finished one, and this is the first piece of clothing i crocheted that i actually like, and that i'm looking forward to wear outside ! so yeah, thanks for this tutorial, it was easy, fun, quick and you explained everything so well ! :)
just made this in about three days (crocheting just a few hours a day) while watching your emma in the moment ravelry videos! Sooo cute, made it in pink and I love it!
I'm not sure how I found this video but it inspired me to try to make it. I've never done any crochet before, and I just completed the swatch in about 40 minutes and it was so fun. Definitely had to slow down the video at some points 😂 but I can't wait to finish it even if it takes me several months. Thank you for this video 💙
I still need to learn the basics but this is really exciting. I'm a hiker and mesh wool base layers are the lightest way of keeping warm, but they are extremely expensive.
Thank you 🙏! I'm actually in the middle of making this exact thing, but I've started over twice because the sizing was terrible (waaayy to big!). Not to mention, your pattern is actually simpler and cuter than mine, so I think I'll commit to your design, for this time.
I luv this easy and well-explained piece of work. I'm going to make this with adjustments for a little girl's size right now. Thank you for posting this video.
been making some mesh hanging yarn holders and noticed my stitching is way different than yours. But like the lesson, now time to make my kitties some tank tops lol.
I want to learn this. It’s a bit difficult the first chain 6:316:32 or foundation chain. I have never seen the way you start your chain. It looks hard but I know if I watch few more times, I will get . I’m a visual learner. I don’t understand patterns at all. Thank you🙏😊
Omg these are great...sadly i fear my brain does not work this way to make one (head spinning watching your stitches and calculations), but i want to try anyway! I'd love one for a Pride outfit.
at 12:11 when you switch to the other shoulder, how do you attach yarn to the other side without crossing the stitch markers? like how do you move across the project?
How have you done it,it looks hard when teaching us with black yarn and I can't understand how you crochet, please use a bright yarn so as to understand
Awww thank you! Hope you enjoy !! I actually have a few videos already on instagram and tiktok where I style these tops and I'm planning on making a few more soon :)
mine turned out uhhhh. wonky. i must have switched crochet hook sizes at some point without realizing because the back is only 30 rows and the front is 45... its also got a huge scoop neck because i didnt do the collar from the middle out, i did it from the ends in. i think i can still salvage it and itll work as a swimsuit cover up but boy did it not go how i was imagining
Does the way to calculate the size and the amount of stitches for one panel also work with the metric system, or do I have to convert everything to inches?
got to the math and my heart sank harder than the titanic 😢😢 maybe I can ask someone to do the math for me haha, I’d really love to give this a go (I came from your Masc crochet ideas video)
I have some tips on making the tutorial more legible Do you do the sleeve making for both panels? Layout the mesh pieces flat with each other and indicate where youre stitching together because that mesh mess is hard to understand even with the verbal explanation Also you mention in " the made to measure section" to measure from your shoulder to where you want it to end, when really it should be from where you want the neckline to be and lower, because the added shoulders will add much more length than anticipated. Overral please have clearer instructions if we have to make those two panels identical or just have the front and back be different (judging from me watching through this multiple times, at the end when its on your body and youre clipping the sides together, only then was it clear that they are to be identical panels.) Also clearer demonstrations on where to sew the patterns together (imagine youre 3blue1brown for that part) And i still feel like the measuring should be from under the neck, chestplate region Thank you ❤
I don't think so! I want to make one with sleeves really badly when it gets cooler, I'll make a video on how I alter it but it should just work if you add them to the edges of the armholes.
Handicaps: I’m left handed. Suck at crochet. Short attention spanned, and tend to give up. Not to mention hate math. But my arms are ugly so I’m trying my best to piece together something easy to make to go over my swimsuit. Woo
A good friend of mine has been begging me to crochet a mesh tank top for them with a colorway that I absolutely despise. Currently trying to get it finished in a week for their birthday. Wish me luck lmao 🥲
just made it, it's my first project that big (I'm crocheting like only for a week) and I'm so proud of it! Thank you so much!!
How’s the crocheting going?
What was your first project if you don't mind me asking? I've been wanting to get into crochet and I'm not sure what to start with.

Same here. Was a big help

Great pattern, thank you! The instructions were clear and simple. Love the final product!
I just started this project using antrasit metallic yarn to wear in a rave... the swatch looks like an actual metal mesh, super excited to finish it!!

I saw your video about pattern testers, and while I've never done it, I would love to! I promise to never ghost you!
omg im so glad you explain these math hacks to help with making the pieces!! such a useful tip
Yes !!! I hate math but this is really not too complicated and it makes it all easier to get the fit right !
i saw you wearing this in another one of your videos and was SO unbelievably excited to see that you linked it in the description 🙏🏻🫶🏻

Just finished this in pink and I'm so happy!!!!
This looks like a really fun project to do before summer!!
Making it in a soft yellow. Just finished the 2nd panel. I'm adding some trim to them before attaching them tomorrow. Thanks for the great video!
I luv this easy and well-explained piece of work. I'm going to make this with adjustments for a little girl's size right now. Thank you for posting this video.
Thank you so much for this lovely pattern!! The instructions were super clear and easy to follow and I love how little yarn this project requires hehe
I'm obsessed with your tutorials. You're the best!!
Ahh thank you so much 🥰
I just finished this. I Love this tutorial. Thank you.
amazing tutorial, very easy to follow, very customizable, quickly done, love it:)
Im actually using this to make a crop sweater so hopefully it goes well🤞
oo I would love to see it when you're done!
I really like that you didn’t have music in this video 😆 Feels so much more real
You're such a good tutor. Am already crocheting mine😅
been making some mesh hanging yarn holders and noticed my stitching is way different than yours. But like the lesson, now time to make my kitties some tank tops lol.
Omg i finished crocheting this mesh top in just 2 days it's looking too good I'm making some more in another colours ❤❤😊

Excited to crochet this one 😍💜🫶🏼 thanks for the pattern
Going to attempt making a sleeved version of this (wish me luck!)
How did you do it 👀 Im really wanting to add short sleeves to this… 🤔
Did u do it?
I want to learn this. It’s a bit difficult the first chain 6:31 6:32 or foundation chain. I have never seen the way you start your chain. It looks hard but I know if I watch few more times, I will get . I’m a visual learner. I don’t understand patterns at all. Thank you🙏😊

😻😻 so gonna make this into a dress!
Working on a version in the round that splits for the arm holes and then meets back up to be seamed at the shoulders! Wish me luck!
i wanted to make this for my friend for Christmas ❤❤❤
thank you so much❤
i cannot wait to get new crochet hooks ans yarn and make this!! big thank you!💗
Yayy of course! Hope you enjoy making it :)

Professor Emma with the math🫡
It's so pretty, I'll have to try it soon
Love it! Cant wait to make one!
You got me at super quick project
i really want to make this pattern, but i do not do swatches or math. lol so ima guess and hope it comes out.
Omg the vid came out so fast! I’m starting on it today :)
at 12:11 when you switch to the other shoulder, how do you attach yarn to the other side without crossing the stitch markers? like how do you move across the project?
I just attached a new piece of yarn!
awesome pattern! is this weight 3 or 4 yarn?
I love it 🥰 it’s so cute 😊 ❤❤❤
can someone tell me the size of yarn the creator uses, tia
omg i want to make this!!!
Will this work with a 5 ml hook or do I need a big one?
How have you done it,it looks hard when teaching us with black yarn and I can't understand how you crochet, please use a bright yarn so as to understand
Does your base of foundation sc have to be done in multiples of 2 or anything like that?
How would you go about adding sleeves?
Hey, what size hook did you use for the small hook? I currently working on it and got to the point to use the smaller hook.
omgg I've been waiting for this since I saw your post aaaaah I cant wait to do it!!
quick question, how do you style this😂 i suck at styling tops😭🤣
Awww thank you! Hope you enjoy !! I actually have a few videos already on instagram and tiktok where I style these tops and I'm planning on making a few more soon :)

can i use a smaller hook if i want the yarn tighter? if so how should i scale up the patterns so it is still big holes
Yes! I would experiment with chaining 6 instead of 4 and keeping everything else the same :)

of course !!! Hope you enjoy !!!
finally someone explained how to move to the other side of the panel 😭
Hi! I know this is an old tutorial,b ut what size is your smaller hook in this video?
I have a feeling I'm going to look incredibly gay in this top and I cannot WAIT to make it
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you soo much for this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey, is it possible to make it multicoloured? How would I do that?
If I don’t want it to be oversized should I just use my bust measurement?
Yes!
What kind of yarn you used thanks
I have some tips on making the tutorial more legible

Would you have to alter the front and back patterns in order to add sleeves?
I don't think so! I want to make one with sleeves really badly when it gets cooler, I'll make a video on how I alter it but it should just work if you add them to the edges of the armholes.
Is 50g yarn enough to make one?
hi! is this a diamond mesh stitch? tysm
Handicaps: I’m left handed. Suck at crochet. Short attention spanned, and tend to give up. Not to mention hate math. But my arms are ugly so I’m trying my best to piece together something easy to make to go over my swimsuit. Woo
Oh where did you get that smaller hook? I love it 😍
How would you add short sleeves to this?
Is it ok to just make the chain instead of doing the fancy one?
does anyone know where they got that purple sports bra (14:11) or where i can get one similar??
it's from Parade :)
@@madeinthemoment thanks
hi! how many balls did you use? 😊
What size yarn is this?
Hi!
Can you please get a tutorial crochet Corset lace front? How to make crochet corset top lace front?
I don’t understand how to start row 2
Bought a 19mm hook just to make a bunch of these
Sheesh you had me till the maths 😢
Hola bella, muy bonita la blusa pero no entiendo,si lo traduces sería super. Gracias
😍🥰
👍🏻🍃🤩🍃🥰😊❤️🙏🙏😀
The pattern is really cool, but seeing you crochet with these rings gives me anxiety
Is not that easy 4 me 😢
The explanations were really hard to follow
