I’ll give them credit Taekook are great actors, but good acting can only go so far and it showed in the last moments of the date but in their eyes.

Not a surprise any more. It's 2018 where tae and jk are really very close bcoz they are sharing car during the tour and bighit shows that moment of taekook Sharing the car. But everything changed in 2019 tour ,when gradually jk and jimin comes closer more and more. But tae didn't change , only jk changed but why jk blame tae I don't know. But now everything is ok both are again got closer since 2021. But it's a dark year for taekook 2019 and 2020 bcoz every where is jikook together but now it's not.
JK also never changed. 2019, he had to do regular practice with Jm for the black swan dance subunit., collaborating with other singers. Etc, that's why jikook always seems to be together in one car.. But he's still close to Tae. Lots of footage from various music shows in 2019, which shows how Jk always wanted to be around Tae.
And Jk doesn't even blame Tae. Taekook's date in In The Soop, only one of the contents to fill In The Soop only. before the taekook date event, there was no awkwardness at all between Taekook.
