This along with not building up Original Talent and utilising other talent to build them is what also has messed it up. To see Jaime Hayter fall to the wayside for someone like Mercedes Moan is tragic
you might not agree with me but the moment tony decide to show the CCTV footage of punk and basically cry to the public how his life was in danger...that was the moment AEW 'died' at least in my eyes because Tony's credibly and reputation automatically was tarnished and now people see him as a cry baby not a man with an actual backbone and it most defently shows seeing that he does indeed come from money and hasn't had one humbling experience in his entire life.
As much as people may not like Vince McMahon. He was a marketing genius, really prioritized on marketing/branding WWE as “THE” wrestling company in the world. Regardless if he fed us garbage for 2 decades. We as fans ate it bc we got so conditioned to the point where we’re always going to look at WWE as the superior product.
As a Pro Wrestling Fan & at one time Resident of Nashville, TN. TNA way back in the early 2000's when they were a Local Nashville Company and only doing PPV's was very much AEW like for the first Couple of years. And just like AEW has done over the last Couple of years & also WCW... They lost their way by continuing to bring in EX-WWF/WWE Guys N Gals instead of continuing to push the People that got you to where you became a National Company in the first place. But also AEW started its downward Spiral when Cody Left & TK took over Full Creative Control.
AEW has the same problem WWE had in the past. There is no acknowledgment of the deterioration of the quality of the product and the need for improvement. If management maintains the stubborn attitude of "everything is fine", then they will just keep sinking into irrelevancy
Outside of using real life stuff MJF had one other thing going for him "The Bidding war of '24". For years MJF was saying he would jump to WWE when his contract was up. Instead he re-signed. So if he tries to do that again in a few years it will fall flat.
He had to stop the bidding thing. That was hurting the company. The only way MJF could get legit heat with the IWC crowd was the praise WWE over AEW. It’s a real bad look for AEW when even its world champion at the time is telling the fans to go watch WWE instead.
Im not disagreeing with everything you're saying but also I dont think people truly wanted to stick with AEW jn the long run. They were only bandwagon fans
Aew is not respecting it's fans time with the bad booking. Nobody really to get behind and when someone is on the rise they randomly get iced like wardlow,Ricky starks, micro,HOB. TK bookings is so stagnant wrestlers change from heel to babyface on a dime literally for the next feud.
@@kidrevos557 Agreed. But I also think the promos are....awkward. Like most recently, MJF's promo with the bum, his car and him going after that guys parents and their murder? The MJF & Roderick Strong AEW Dynamite Segment? Like...whoa, that is awful. I wholeheartedly believe you can't justify that promo, at all.
Fans don’t owe AEW or WWE their viewership. If they don’t think a product is good they don’t have to watch. AEW is not as great as it was during those first 2 years.
I feel like they really need a Roman Reigns "type" Guy who has the charisma and is interesting and each segment you genuinely feel like you can't miss, because even if he was just talking there was always tension, those segments built the run WWE is on now, not the matches, they need that. They could get it done with Bobby maybe if done right.
Wrestling as a whole is down basically everywhere. Inflation is crippling peoples abilities to go to shows and most people don't give af about wrestling as a whole anyway. There's a reason they're all fighting for streaming about 10 years too late atp. This isn't the 90s. WWE being around still is mostly corporate inertia anyway of course AEW is "struggling" all live events are lol
We all said this was going to happen. Tony has killed the popularity of AEW with his continued shots are WWE, and poor uses of shock and awe in the style of ECW or WCW 2000. Of course,e the biggest offense was trying to use the Punk footage to sully Punk's name and it backfired gloriously. For the last couple of years, people have said Tony needs to downgrade to smaller venues, and he refused to do so. Now you are the results. The collision only getting a thousand tickets in Columbus and having to move to a convention center was the catalyst. Now every Big Stadium PPV AEW has could be in trouble and people like Meltzer are going to sugarcoat it. It's time for Tony to face facts, grow a set of balls, and admit you fucked up. You claim you want to reset well now is the time. Remove the Bucks, Moxley, Jericho, and Mercedes from any type of creative control. Move to smaller venues or just do shows from Daily's place till you can start regrowing your audience. Finally, his a competent booker, stop listening to Meltzer and just be the "President" of AEW, while the people who know what they are doing salvage AEW. Stop booking for the Indie minded set, and making "Dream Matches" for the sake of it. Tony has done everything that killed WCW in record time. We don't want AEW to go away, because it's good for business, but AEW has no indenity, it has no soul.
THIS is why Tony listening to Eric Bischoff was SO important. Before Eric Bischoff failed he succeeded in bringing legitimate competition to the pro wrestling space on a main stream level. People like to make fun of Bischoff for some of the awful decisions that were made but what makes a man is EXPERIENCE. Regardless of if you failed or succeed. Tony khan could’ve learned a thing or two but instead chose to look at the constructive criticism from Eric Bischoff as personal, instead of listening to him. Nobody has come remotely close to what WCW was to the WWF in the 90’s and Tony doesn’t get it. That’s why the product is cold. No superstars, you have nobody of marquee value and everyone you DID have for that you squashed their stardom. At the beginning of this year, AEW was drawing close to a million viewers on the back of MJF, now look at both. Ice cold. This is what happened to TNA. AEW will always have a place in the business but not as competitive, instead it’ll be another glorified indie promotion used as a feeder system for the big leagues 🤷🏾🤷🏾
What makes it so much worse is it's not like WWE is in a new attitude era with their storylines, tv ratings and crowd heat. Their main angle is the bloodline civil war that has a huge mismatch in star power and credibility, while Solo the new bloodline's leader gets beat every house show, tv and PLE
AEW got me back into wrestling after decades away from it. However, you’d have to be a blind fool to ignore the problems AEW has. Their biggest problem is Tony Khan is a hardcore IWC fan trying to cater only to the IWC. The IWC is only a small fraction of wrestling fans. It’s strange cause when AEW first started they did try to appeal to the casual fans, making talk show appearances, and etc. Now we realize that it was mostly Cody who was trying to win over the casual fan and once he left, TK stopped caring.
I’ve given up on AEW. The emperor without clothes sums up Tony Khan perfectly as the CEO of AEW. Eric Bischoff said it best, “AEW is nothing more than a well funded hobby for Tony”. He doesn’t care about growing AEW to new heights. He just wants to have a perpetual never ending feud with WWE. I feel for the talent because you can see the hunger and desire to etch their name in history has diminished over the last 5 years. They are only there to collect a paycheck and tweeting during catering.
Ngl I feel like one of the main reasons why AEW was a hit initially was because at the time it was conceived, wrestling as a whole was at an all time low. WWE despite being the most main streamed was riddled with bad booking decisions around the early 2010s-very early 2020s due to Vince’s out of touch and last second booking decisions (NXT was literally the only thing worth watching back then and that was exclusive in the WWE Network). AEW (at the time at least) was what wrestling fans have been longing for since the late 2000s especially for those that missed the more edgier style of wrestling that’s been absent since. However, while AEW had its promises, there were signs of trouble up ahead. Tony isn’t the best booker as it seems he’s more focus on just and only wrestling than actual story-telling, which is why the “dream matches” feel underwhelming (Cody vs Dustin and Punk vs MJF imo were one of only few that were decent). Not to mention most of the matches rely way too heavily on ether crazy spots or shock values (like the hardcore women match where one shoved a handful of thumbtacks down another’s throat). On top of that, the constant hiring of talents (mostly guys that were released from WWE) had caused AEW to be overbloated which usually leads to some wrestlers (like Miro for example) to collect dust deep in the roster. Lastly is the amount of pot shots the company takes at WWE for no real reasons other than to “stir competition”. Cody leaving AEW was the omen and then the whole “Punk drama saga” from 2022-23 was when the ship struck an iceberg and started sinking since (the fact that Tony decided to show the footage of the altercation on live television isn’t a good look for the company). It’s honestly sad how AEW went from a promising and refreshing alternative for those who miss the days of the attitude, to the…whatever it is now.
Its because they have a boss thaat doesn't do anything and just bows down to his employees is to scared to do anything believes wrestling is more important then storylines
Tony Khan's idea of "good storytelling" Wrestler A and Wrestler B were big names in NJPW, but not at the same time BUTT (*sniffs coke*) Now they are in AEW and will have a "dream match" with no build because 20 people in the crowd know how big of a deal that this would be...... if it happened in NJPW *(*Gets in a private jet to go buy more coke*)*
MVP and Hurt Business feel FAR MORE like the Bischoff and the nWo than "Death Riders". Credible group from another company headed by a more than credible and decorated world champion showing up in AEW recruiting talent to their side. BCC tried to do that with Garcia, Moriarty, and Yuta and were only able to get Yuta to join them. That's a very disappointing recruitment drive
Aew wasn't meant to be a sustainable company when the sole purpose of aew is to cry about vince & Stanford. They had no idea that Vince would get forced out & wanted to coast off being anti wwe. Now you have a situation when Vince was proven right about not giving said wrestlers creative freedom end up a detriment to the show like moxley, Mercedes & jericho. Or the people said vince wouldn't give a chance to and end up failing to catch the crowd like Keith Lee, undisputed era & swerve. Khan & the elite wanted a company to appease the Dave Meltzer crowd who's loyalty is finite. What happened to roh & njpw happened to aew, it became a fad.
Just waiting for the moment TK gets in the middle of the ring and apologizes to the fans for the bad product that’s been presented since 2021-2022. He’s not willing to admit that his booking is garbage though. Where’s Wardlow, Miro, Ricky Starks, Keith Lee, Saraya, etc? Hell, you got a legend like Jake Roberts that could help out tremendously with consistent storylines across the board managing Los Ingobernablés? Get off that booger sugar TK!! He literally has all the tools to put on a great show for the fans in attendance to the ones watching at home. But, instead, he chooses to try and impress Dave Meltzer smh.
Something interesting about wwe right now is they’re only showcasing about 5-6 matches on PLEs and to an extent some people think it’s a bad thing to not put every star on a ple but at the same time it gives raw and smackdown real watch value and they matter in order to watch certain stars and stories move on. Aew ppvs are 10 hours long with 15 matches where they’re all the same guys kicking out of dangerous should be banned moves and flying around the ring being 130 pounds pinning 200 pound guys. Dynamite and all those shows hold no value and not to mention all the wrestlers can’t talk to save their lives it’s truly awful. I’m more excited to watch raw and smackdown for banger promos and segments while aew weekly shows is the same old guys flying around nearly dying to get a quick pop and highlight then we forget they did it a week later. They’re a dying ship and it’s sad to see I want all wrestling to succeed but tk is a dumbass who thinks he got it all figured out. They will die inevitably like wcw and then wwe will continue to dominate with ease like they are rn. Aew made wwe step up and lock in but aew hasn’t locked in and adapted ever.
@meatwad376 there's a lot of people that were defending the young bucks and orange pockets, as well as the aew booking, that are now saying it's not good any more, meanwhile we were saying it was bad from the start and we knew things would end up the way they are now. Those are facts.
that’s all it really is tbh, WWE got hot again all the stuff AEW was getting praised for before is happening with WWE. I do however, believe that a large problem with AEW and I see it all the time is not enough focus on other parts of the shows. Women take a back seat, tag teams take a back seat so a lot of the time I’m watching the same people wrestle all the time and it kinda gets boring. compared to how it was before where it felt as tho everything had a good feel to it and felt promising but after the Punk stuff it feels like they’re trying to prove they’re a good place to work instead of just showing that it is
Jericho should just go be a commentator fulltime. AEW should try to get Steven richards and Ryback to join the commentary team as well. These 3 are an improvement on Excalibur and tired Tony .
Most people don’t have time to watch everything and most people will pick what’s comfy to them. It just so happens that what’s comfy is currently by far the better product.
I quit watching AEW when Punk left. For the 2 years I havnt watched it’s gotten worse and worse. Seeing ratings and attendance decline. Cody was the glue that held this place together. If I was Tony I’d go out and find a booker and give him full control. He likes throwing money around. Until Tony makes changes things will not get better. I mean how long till WBD says enough with declining ratings.
The matches aren't the problem, though. Of course, the wrestling is good. Storyline and Characters will always reign supreme. I really like Osprey, Swerve, Hangman, Omega and Bryan but I don't need to watch week to week when I can just watch the actual match later on. The stories just aren't compelling to watch week to week. I used to watch from 2019 to 2023. Now I just watch the matches.
The matches were never the problem. That’s why no one complains about the PPV’s . . . other than the length. The problem is the stories, characters, continuity, and formatting. Tony is great if he was booking a video game
How can moxley do an invasion of a company he's been apart of since almost day 1? 5 years ago, its not like hall and nash when they came in immediately and took over with hogan.
You “fans” are what’s wrong with wrestling as a whole. You think you’re the expert and you’re just not bros. Foolish really. You complains that everything they do isn’t right but they literally have been doing the same thing since the start. You’re all just hurt by punk firing and you can’t cope.
Cornette and eric told you so about the direction of aew,but what crossed the line for me is what meltzer did and said about dirty dutch and his wife when they both where battling for their lives in the hospital all because tony khan donated to the gofundme and dave gave tony flac for having a heart meltzer is the true thing holding aew back and tony should cut ties with dave
i believe aew is gonna stay this was this the end of 2025 Once john cena ends his career i can see quite a lot of wwe fans stop watching also the rock and roman match will happen at mania so the best aew can do rn is wait honestly cuz improve is something TK is not gonna do
John has had like two matches or less a year for about four years. Most of his fans are still watching for new characters or already aged out of the product
@@richborn6700 fr this dude is talking like fans are only watching wwe because of Cena when Cena hasn't been apart of wwe for years. Look like he,ll be waiting for something that never comes
I don't agree with everything said in this video, and I think is off base. That said, theres more I agree with than disagree with. I got burnt out with AEW right around the build for All In, and don't watch anymore. I gave up on AEW. I don't hate AEW. I still want AEW to succeed, but I can't keep watching anymore. AEW has lost its soul. The honeymoon era has been over for a while now.
*cared about Mox. He came to AEW five years ago, and really hasn't changed. He's sober yes, but heel or face he's just "I'm crazy I'll crack you head and stomp your face in. Step up or get stepped on." We get it dude you're the coolest bar room brawler in the company. I liked when he showed up in Japan at first with wrestling gear doing things he didn't in WWE@@danialhashmi6078
I feel TK wears too many hats and that he should let someone else book the TV shows and PPVs to where it would make fans want to buy tickets to go to the shows and PPVs again. Booking for the sickos has turned off some hardcore fans and many casual fans. They need a massive overhaul on creative in 2025
You and I are on the same wave link I’m gonna point where I regretted buying full gear and I like all wrestling, but this shows are not what they once were. I’ve already gotten to the point where buy every other show because I don’t have that much money so I was frankly pissed off when it comes to full gear, because I didn’t think that happened I could predict every outcome of that very much. I knew there was no way in hell that orange Cassie was losing to John Moxley.
Tony believes that once his shows go on max, more people will watch aew, which i don't think it going to work and nxt been beating aew couple times now since moving to cw network. Aew dynamite rating will fall lower eventually.
I hope I am wrong when I say Moxley's reign pretty much looks like the 4 yr Roman Reigns. Reign of terror no pun intended to Roman. Like I said I hope I am wrong. Because it's bad enough WWE did it with Roman. Mox's title run is going to become unbearable same as Roman's. I say this cause Mox has creative control over his character and storyline. Hope his title run doesn't become a reign of terror. Like Roman's was.
I love your takes brother, but you give AEW way to many excuses. The liberal mindset that Tony khan exercises with his talent have allowed talent to do whatever they want without any leadership and direction, CM Punk was the perfect example he came in with leadership mind set and the bucks where allowed to run like children and push him out, AEW is going under in a few years if the leadership from the owner does not change the inmates will always run the asylum and the product will continue to be horrendous..
AEW really is a prime example of why the liberal mindset doesn’t work, especially in a business as cutthroat as pro wrestling. Tony Khan’s hands off, "let the talent do whatever they want" approach has merely created chaos. The CM Punk situation proves this perfectly - he came in with a leadership mentality, trying to bring some order, and the Bucks were allowed to act like kids, ultimately pushing him out. Without strong leadership, the product suffers, and the cracks are glaring. And I don't even like Punk, I think he's an annoying Chicago liberal virtue signaler. And I don't even think he believes half of the holy shit he says about blacks, women, trans people, etc. It's a work for most people, in or outside of wrestling. It earns you brownie points, that's all. It’s a harsh truth, but this is the adult world of business. You need to be a boss. Sometimes that means being strict, and yes, even an asshole, to keep everything running smoothly. Companies like WWE and leaders like Vince have made moves over the years that people criticize, but those decisions often come from understanding that discipline and structure are essential. That’s why WWE has lasted as long as it has, while AEW is already showing signs of decline just a few years in. The bigger picture here is fascinating. AEW is like a microcosm of society at large - how the world has been leaning more and more left liberal, and how that mindset is causing issues in so many areas. You see the same lack of accountability and discipline in other industries, and the results speak for themselves. At the end of the day, leadership isn’t about being liked; it’s about making tough decisions for the good of the whole. Until AEW gets that, the product will keep spiraling.
One flop that isn't mentioned nearly enough is the women's division. Mariah May's heel turn was rushed, it could've waited two or three weeks, maybe they could have had a little story progression on Dynamite and a little on Collision. Then the feud itself happened, Mariah is yet to have a good story and everyone is waiting for Toni to come back. Mercedes Moné has just had her first really good match in WWE 9 months later, but the stories with Britt Baker and now with Kris Statlander haven't been good and Kamille has been buried. Then Ssraya, Harley Cameron, Thunder Rosa, Deonna Purrazzo.. all feel like afterthoughts. Everything's rushed, feuds don't last and there are no consequences to them, everyone moves on, it's business as usual and most women don't do anything even though there are several belts to compete for.
The AEW women's division is a joke. The women claim to want to be taker seriously but you have Mina, Harley and Mariah May shaking their tits on screen, Russo style. You gave Mercedes creative control, as she continues to have bad matches and even worse promos, burying everyone who is involved with her. Britt Baker no longer gives a fuck. Shida has phoned it in. Jamie Hayter is stuck wrestling jobbers instead of getting her title back. You have young talent like Anna Jay, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart that you could build the company around, but don't. Meanwhile, you compare it to NXT which now has the strongest women's division in wrestling and most of the girls haven't been doing this for more than 2 years.
You mean the tv deal that’s far low then they expected? So low they need to downgrade their arenas to something smaller. So low they had to cancel their PPV in Australia.
While I will say WWE in 2016-2018 was somewhat watchable, 2019 soured many people’s taste due to the booking decisions that year (Corbin being the one to retire Kurt Angle, the whole WM 39 main event fiasco, the disastrous Undertaker vs Goldberg match and the 2019 HIAC fiasco).
@ I commend you for offering at least some examples and I do recall people complaining about those events. I had no issues with any of them except the Seth vs Bray which I would hated no matter what because I always skipped every Bray Wyatt content after the Randy Orton feud and am now skipping every segment with the Wyatt Family Tribute Stable. I also hate Cody passionately but am still able to watch the shows.
The same thing I just told an AEW fan who says there’s no problem. Yes there was. It was bad. Raw started dipping below 1 million viewers during 2019-2020. That was why people thought AEW was finally going to beat it. I remember Raw have ratings some weeks of 700,000-800,000. It was a disaster for WWE then just like AEW’s current disaster right now.
@@Linklex7 Yeah it was pretty bad (Charlotte getting shoe horned into the main event by sacrificing Asuka’s first women’s title reign that year is still one of their most disliked videos on YT and is also still widely regarded as some of WWE’s dumbest booking decisions). You also had Brock winning MITB after having 2 back to back Universal Title runs where one of which lasted over 500 days (although Boombox Brock was kinda funny), the poor booking of Dean Ambrose’s heel turn, the whole Roman eating dogfood storyline, ShortyG (really surprised Gable didn’t just walk out after that), Brock randomly beating Kofi for the champion in barely a minute after hyping Kofi up with his champion reign, and the lack luster Brock vs Cain Valasques feud (even the game that year 2K20 was garbage). The only real good thing that year was the Fiend, and even that too was fumbled by shoving it to the title picture the moment it appeared. The 2019 overall was a trainwreck for WWE and was another example on why Vince should’ve stepped down years ago.
I recently binged through the show FROM, and while it wasn’t the greatest show ever, with its share of bad writing and some questionable acting, I still found myself engaged. The mystery and premise were intriguing enough to hold my attention, even when the execution faltered, and I kept wanting to see what would happen next. It made me realize how much wrestling, by comparison, just doesn’t measure up. Whenever I put on a wrestling show, it rarely holds my focus, instead becoming background noise while I scroll through my phone. There’s no sense of intrigue, no story that pulls me in or keeps me invested - it’s just dull and uninspired most of the time. Wrestling feels worse than even a pretty average TV show, let alone one that’s actually above average.
I will say, the greater focus on the wrestling on their ppvs is something that current WWE needs to adapt IMO. 5 match cards is one of the worst things about them currently and the amount of time allocated to ads STILL makes them 3.5+ hrs long. AEW just recently had a 9 match card for the same time. idk just my opinion tho
AEW shows are too long. Pay attention to them crowds. They always dead by the main event cause they stayed up too long. I’d rather have the 5 match PPV than the 12 match PPV.
The falling ratings means a lot of people aren’t enjoying it. Just cause you personally like it doesn’t mean it’s a hit. A few years ago AEW Dynamite was this close to actually overtaking WWE Raw in the ratings. They can’t even beat NXT anymore, and they use to destroy NXT in the ratings. People use to talk about AEW running the Garden one day. Times have changed. I don’t want AEW to die. The business is worst off without AEW in it, but the company has major problems (mostly when Cody left) they need to address or the numbers will keep going down.
no. why do wrestling fans have the memory of a gold fish. it was way worse. probably the most unwatchable era of wrestling. i'd take russo wcw any given day over that shite.

Tony Khan is running AEW like the Jaguars.
No only re-signed, but also got an AEW tattoo. But remember.... he's not a mark
He had to stop the bidding thing. That was hurting the company. The only way MJF could get legit heat with the IWC crowd was the praise WWE over AEW. It’s a real bad look for AEW when even its world champion at the time is telling the fans to go watch WWE instead.
@@Linklex7 He had to stop because he re-signed with AEW. Nobody is going to believe him at this stage.
Exactly what happened to roh & njpw. They made their fanbase the metlzer crowd.
@@fizzyfuzz5878 Solo won at the last ppv.
The shows just look and sound so bad on TV. It looks like a low-budget production.
When R-Truth's lore with the Judgment Day is more consistent than the most important AEW storyarc, something's wrong.
I didnt know you watched wrestling man🙏
I don't remember the last time I seen an AEW praise video outside of Simon Miller, AKA the most positive man in the IWC lol
Tranquilo Club has pretty much dropped off the face of the earth and he was AEW’s biggest defender behind Meltzer.
so now its a circle jerk of people just shitting on aew. The same as russo post wcw. The same thing happened with dixie.
We deserve the product we get
I’ve given up on AEW.
Tony Khan's idea of "good storytelling"
Wrestler A and Wrestler B were big names in NJPW, but not at the same time
BUTT (*sniffs coke*)
Now they are in AEW and will have a "dream match" with no build because 20 people in the crowd know how big of a deal that this would be...... if it happened in NJPW
*(*Gets in a private jet to go buy more coke*)*
the peak lasted as long as every other company competing with wwe since the territory era
But, instead, he chooses to try and impress Dave Meltzer smh.
plumbers vs company mascots are not matches i ever wanna see
Don't worry they have an obese 8 year old named the Rizzler, he'll carry the company now.
A lot of people are now saying the same stuff that people like me have been saying from year one
They’ve been saying this stuff for a long time you aren’t special
@meatwad376 there's a lot of people that were defending the young bucks and orange pockets, as well as the aew booking, that are now saying it's not good any more, meanwhile we were saying it was bad from the start and we knew things would end up the way they are now. Those are facts.
Here comes the BOOM 🎉
Man you gotta do a review of HEELS because your description of AEW... I'll let you find out
that’s all it really is tbh, WWE got hot again all the stuff AEW was getting praised for before is happening with WWE.
Its not cold, its iceberg frozen.
The Continental Classic starts tomorrow. There's gonna be banger matches for weeks during the tourney.
Tiny books for Dave Meltzer and thats the real problem
Cornette and eric told you so about the direction of aew,but what crossed the line for me is what meltzer did and said about dirty dutch and his wife when they both where battling for their lives in the hospital all because tony khan donated to the gofundme and dave gave tony flac for having a heart meltzer is the true thing holding aew back and tony should cut ties with dave
smh. west has normalised begging to such a degree
i believe aew is gonna stay this was this the end of 2025 Once john cena ends his career i can see quite a lot of wwe fans stop watching also the rock and roman match will happen at mania so the best aew can do rn is wait honestly cuz improve is something TK is not gonna do
John has had like two matches or less a year for about four years.
Hope you get better asap.
Damn Keith Lee looks old AF in that graphic.
AEW got him aging in dog years
The problem is that theyre booking garbage Indy wrestlers like Moxley and the bucks. No one actually cares about these people
People care about mox
Hopefully the hurt syndicate saves it that’s what made me start watching
I've never missed Dynamite. Havent watched Collision since before Punk took it over
It's like AEW are trying to artificially get people over by making them go against top heels, and I dont think it works that way.
I’ve been seeing a lot of bad faith takes on both sides and it’s just wild that some people really run with these takes
I hate to tell people i told you so but this case nah😂
I just watch highlights from both shows I don't think the company is gonna get better
Its a shame i threw the towel in last month, i just cant watch it anymore
💯@@StraightEdgeJunkie
Tony letting the talent do what ever they want was the first sign that AEW was going to turn into late WCW, and we've seen it happen in 5 years times.
He seems pretty critical in this video, I'm confused on where the excuses are.

They literally just got a new media deal. Stop the doom and gloom shit. It's gotten a bit old after 5 years.
You mean the tv deal that’s far low then they expected? So low they need to downgrade their arenas to something smaller. So low they had to cancel their PPV in Australia.

It's terrible.
WWE in 2018/2019 was fine. It wasn’t horrible. The group cognitive dissonance of AEW fans is extraordinary.
@ that’s ridiculously melodramatic and not at all true. And no intelligent or rational person ever thought AEW was going to beat WWE.
Wrestling is the least important part of their TV honestly
@@richborn6700 Yea, but I was talking about the whole show. Promos included. I've always liked promos more than wrestling anyway.
I’d rather have the 5 match PPV than the 12 match PPV.
just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean it’s failing. a lot of people enjoy it.
It's failing
The falling ratings means a lot of people aren’t enjoying it. Just cause you personally like it doesn’t mean it’s a hit. A few years ago AEW Dynamite was this close to actually overtaking WWE Raw in the ratings. They can’t even beat NXT anymore, and they use to destroy NXT in the ratings. People use to talk about AEW running the Garden one day. Times have changed. I don’t want AEW to die. The business is worst off without AEW in it, but the company has major problems (mostly when Cody left) they need to address or the numbers will keep going down.

TK is a horrible boss, Go watch the interview with CVV with Ricky Starks, tell me after warching this TK isnt punishing him for being Codys friend, Ricky is at home uninjured just being penalised for being Codys friend. I am done with AEW the show died when AEW released CM Punk footage, the storylines are absolutly stupid, MOX has zero chance of fixing this, nothing will fix this, TK is running his own matches he wants to see, and cares nothing for Talent. Lashley and Hurt Synd will be too late to fix this, TK killed AEW. Its trash and we all know it
At least he's getting paid to chill and keep himself in shape for his WWE run.
