All the sounds in this game make this the scariest monopoly game I ever played. I also like how if you press the button on your controller during the auction, it plays a tone that gets higher in pitch each time you bid.
@@addisonfung5009 when my brothers and I were younger, we had an NES and the way the Auction was supposed to work in Monopoly was everyone would put in bids, and pass the controller to whoever wanted to outbid. They would scroll to their name, input their bid, and then pass it back. The issue was that there were a max of 2 wired controllers for an NES and 3 players. Since Monopoly was turn based, the limit wasn't normally an issue. However since the auction was more freeform (and didn't have a 3,5, and 7 year old in mind during design), things got a little rough😅
NES (& Gameboy) Monopoly is the fastest video game adaptation out there, the SNES one moves so much slower with dice rolls. I play it all the time with friends who wanna play Monopoly but not deal with the physical board.

There was no reason for this to slap. This is like one of the best songs in the game.
I agree, though my personal favorite is the main title theme and the pay tax theme

Monopoly for the NES is better than the SNES version (primarily in the sound dept).
Also gameplay speed - SNES Monopoly moves soooooo slooooow, NES Monopoly it takes like 5 seconds for a turn.

The entire loop actually lasts 3:28 with the pauses in the drumming 'catching up' with the rest of the song.
This theme should have been used on games.com when people made the auctions freeze and won cheap auctions. So funny. What memories.
