- Here's another one from the archives--looks like I recorded it about a two years ago and just left it sitting on my hard disk without uploading it.
In this video I discuss dynamic vs. manual tiling window management, and why I prefer dwm to i3 or Pop Shell.
This is an old recording that I found from about 2 years ago. So, I guess to follow up on my comment towards the end about how I expect I'll stay on dwm... I can confirm that I am still using it.
Hey there, do you do any gaming on this setup? If so, have you found any weird issues?
@@MrMoonCraft I haven't had any problems with Steam/Proton on this setup, no. Everything works just fine.
Fire background
I've been using dwm since 2020, and I couldn't go back to the old ways. Usually I stay in monocle layout because I have tmux running in the terminal.
did you try xmonad?
No, though I understand that it is similar in function to dwm but configured in Haskell instead of C. I already know C (I work in systems programming), and don't know Haskell, so dwm was what I went with.
dwm is the only wm that makes sense to me
