I LOVE how she went over that second stubborn footprint TWICE and it was still very obviously stained on the carpet 😂 She played it off like all of us consumers are brain dead and wouldn't notice 🙄 like- Excuse me ma'am, you missed a spot. 😂 I have one of these, and I've learned that the more bells and whistles something like a carpet cleaner has- the more opportunity there is for something to break.
I happened to be out driving when it was end of the month large rubbish time. I seen the featured carpet cleaner just sitting on the curb waiting to be picked up as garbage. so i pulled over next to the curb,got out and went up to the owners door. The nice man said the machine worked real nice. I asked why he was tossing it out. Turn out they got as a gift,they were to elderly had were moving out. He told me to take it away before the garbage men came. Nice find,i yet need to put it to use. So here i am getting info about my new carpet cleaner. I have owned a older canister Bissell,let a friend use it in his home. He stored my trusty canister carpet cleaner in a detached garage that just happened to burn down when he borrowed it. Say-la-Ve,now i have a newer model.
Hello. I see you have the same problem I had. Well there are many people on youtube that actually will take you through a demo to fix the problem. The problem is the water that goes through the heater adventually gets coroded (spell check). It a problem that may people have although Brissell is a good company. So just go to youtube and follow the demo. You can easily type in "My brissell will not spray water anymore" and results will show up. Good Luck.
*10:36** She's not even pulling the trigger to dispense the cleaning solution, no wonder the footprint didn't come up.. I have the same machine and the little black and white wheel on the top red part near the tank spins everytime the soap/ water trigger is squeezed on the handle and the one on the vid is not spinning so no water and shampoo is being put down. All she did was dry brush those footprints, this machine will easily get those right up if you use it correctly.*
Would LOL if that thing stopped spraying on tv just like they all do sooner or later. Also that carpet has hot coco powder sprinkled over it , that's an old trick too make it look dirty and come clean easy.
My pro heat 2x after using a few times quit spraying the water out. Why not tell people how to fix this problem or replace the problem part. Why do you sell something you know has a good chance of become defective after using it a few times.
Bissell Proheat Select 2 with heater. Crap was right. Smaller Bissell did better. Plastic bag inside that holds the Clean Water drops into the dirty water. You can hear something go "thunk". I looked, the top plastic nozzle on the bag gets sucked down into compartment. Now you have dirty water mixing with clean. This machine is shot! plus does not suck up water like my small Bissell. So what happened to mine? Plastic Part broke off where you sqeeze solution. i'm done with Bissells.
I wrote a request for my TWO machine that are not working No water coming out of units You said you would contact me in 24 hours that was two days ago and I still didn't heard from you today I am calling the 1800 # and see if I can get through with some advise on what to do with these Bissell pro hear 2X
CONSUMER RESEARCH REPORT = rates THIS MACHINE #1 --- & in 2nd place was the Hoover Steam Vac Dual V --- I looked at every TEST site on the internet - I would buy NOTHING ELSE but these 2 choices - w/ 2 dogs & 4 kids up to 11 kids DAILY in the house (day care) we need THE BEST!!!
.my Bissell proheat does not spray anymore. Used 3 times. Have taken it apart and checked what was suggested on youtube but wasn't the issue for my machine. Total waste of money.
I bought one of these and IT DOESN"T WORK..... The old one I had worked great...so I bought another one that was supposed to be new and improved Pro Heat 2.....It's a piece of crap....I wasted my money......why did they change something that worked before.... DON'T BUY ON OF THESE

Bought one of these that just didn't have the proshot off Craigslist for $30. love it.
@Morgena1 thorough vacuuming should always be the first step of any carpet cleaning job that will help.
Great machine! Still use till this day! Replaced a some parts and machine still likes new.

Maybe I purchased a faulty unit, but the one I had didn't have any suction. It left the carpet so wet. I sent mine back.
