AMAZING!!!! When I was licensed this was the song that was sung by Evangelist Bettina Pennon. Both versions are sung by anointed women of God. Betty Nelson is an amazing, anointed singer.
Sorry, but I am not exactly sure. During this time of the heyday of the COGIC choir sound, there would be a lyric soprano who would do a call and answer with the vocalist and in my opinion, add to the spiritual effect of the song--Kinda like the voice of an angel crying out to God on our behalf. James Cleveland was a master of this technique and some of his best songs had a lyric soprano that would utilize this technique throughout his most memorable songs.
I thought it was by faw celebration choir. But I cannot find the cd/tape anywhere. It is out of print. Do you have it? I remember loving to hear the lead singer. It was a woman who was doing runs with her voice, she sounded so good and really ministered the song. I heard it many times on the radio and wanted to tape it, but never did. If you have it, I would love a copy.... I will pay a pretty penny for it. Thanks!!!
bettina, i really can't believe that is you but anyway, i was wondering since i have your attention, if you do any vocal training before you sing in front of people. What is your daily regiment, as far as vocal training? Do you stretch, have a certain diet??? Do you give voice lessons in your spare time??? I guess i might as well tell you i'm an aspiring singer, and I'd love to be able to perfect my vocals. I'm willing to work at it as much as i need to.
Originally recorded in 1994 by the FAW Celebration Choir...title of the project was "In the Meantime". And as someone already mentioned, the soloist was Evang. Bettina Pennon on that 1994 project. You can search for the video on TH-cam...that original version has been uploaded.
