Nice action sequences! It is even technically accurate since in a dogfight a MiG-29 should have a slight advantage over the F-15. The North Korean pilot seems immensely well trained and experienced. I am gonna watch the whole movie now.
I agree with you that in a maneuverable air battle, the Mig29 has an advantage over the heavy fighter F15 ... that is why the MIG pilot flew to the city center in order to realize the advantage in maneuver. The scenes were shot very beautifully ... But the script for the film is nonsense ...

For me it's amazing how an alert interception jets were scrambled with bombs for a GROUND STRIKE (1:26), loosing them and their air to air missiles magically while taking off (1:28) and then re-having their air to air missiles again - no bombs this time (1:29), all in a 3 second period. AMAZING ! obviously the real footage here is just a collection of unrelated F15 takeoffs, not to mention the OBSENE amount of CGI following it. Also, in today's world, an airborne radar, and specifically the F15's, can lock from at least 50 miles and fire radar guided missiles from 20 miles away easily. all the close up scenes are exaggerated way too much, and I couldn't even begin talking about the amount of wrong things in 5:11, 5:36, 6:20 - "Physics ? oh that's just a recommendation". In short, any connection between what is shown here and a real dogfight is highly improbable, to say the least. But hey, if people enjoy this than who am I to say anything?

The actors actually were on real planes (they were in the co-pilot seat while trained US navy pilots were actually doing all the flying), and suffered real G effects on their bodies. A vast majority of the things you will see there are REAL footage, expect of things you simply cannot do no matter what, like firing missiles at planes etc.

You have to be a freaking mutant to sustain that heavy session of incredible G forces. I mean in the last cut scene alone that has to be more than 14Gs! I wish they showed in these types of movies the incredible stresses fighter jet pilots go trough in a simple 30 degree turn at those speeds.

Моральный настрой у северокорейских военных схож с фанатизмом сектантов. Во время стычек с северокорейским спецназом почти все окружённые северокорейцы подрывались на гранатах что бы не попасть в плен. Их спецназ пытался убить президента Юж. Кореи, но когда их заметили они умудрились убить несколько десятков южнокорейских полицейских и военных. Часть спецназовцев окружили и все из них, кроме одного, самоубились что бы не сдаваться. Они там по 5-8 лет служат в армии. Так что они те ещё фанатики.

한때 방공포병으로써 말이 참 안되는게 지금은 모르겠지만 제가 복무할때는 휴전선 인근에 북한기가 날아다니면 전방 포대는 5분대기가 들어가고 조금 더 남하할시 격추도 가능합니다. 근데 영화는 영화니까요.
