1. Consider marriage as an act of worship. 2. Choose the right spouse. 3. Ensure your income is halal. Stay away from Riba. 4. Practise righteousness ourselves. Parents be righteous yourselves. 5. Having peace at home. Parents on the same page. 6. Raise them on the ibadah that Allah SWT is watching you. Ibadah of the Muraqabah 7. Have mercy on your children. Let them look forward to seeing you. 8. Constantly make du'a for them. Never ever makes du'a against them.
What a learning and reminder . Wish I could knew all this when I got married and had my children . May Allah Subhanatala grant me forgiveness and accept my doa for their righteous path and deen . Aameen

Assalamualikum So much helpful information. But sorry to say most of person do not married as a act of Ibadah. For them marriage is just a fantasy of life. Lacking of enough knowledge about Deen we are so much far away from our Deen Islam. May Allah forgive us and help us with His mercy. Give hedaya to me and my family and all Muslims. As we love our children most in this Dunia, we must try to ready them for Akhira. May Allah give us the opportunity to understand the right message of Allah and apply it in our life. Assalamualaikum bhai my son is good as u said after marriage completely change no call not coming see me its going on every thing changed from past as another I take care from 1994 till 2021 for him I have done grant marriage also every settled soft wear engineer good salary I don't want any thing from him I love him lot 4 months over no call not coming home everything avoided no love to mother Allah must help me I do namaz and beg Allah Allah must fulfill my duva

How can you make dua for disobedience childrenwho do haram, eat haram and live haram. Please advise
This is the child that needs the most Duaa . Ask Allah to guide him/her , Allah is Qadeer
