Ususally when i have Magnus he just stands there with full mana doing nothing. Like he is saving mana to steal a kill when an opportunity arises, but the opportunity never happens because they are full health because he is not using the 1st skill.
That's why i love Magnus on mid, if my offlaner is like Pango, BB or Legion for an example i go this build but if i have more like Aura dude like Tide or Centaur then i go Harpoon and stuff with a right click, but on offlane always utility build.
@@Dotanator I was technically unranked, but I calibrated Ancient. Wasn't really grinding too hard, but you showed me how to play some heroes way better than I was currently playing them. Leveled up my gameplay by a lot. Also the active carry playstyle. Pure aggression, which meshes a lot with me but I never knew how to do it on certain carries. I'm a Huskar and Night Stalker main, so I'm all about being active. Your recent Huskar video has made me want to dust him off, as I was very turned off by the changes to his Q. It feels extremely clunky to use and takes way too long to activate. Seeing you opt for the Blink Dagger makes a lot of sense and I'll try that in my next match.
I thought I was goofy for buying aether lens on Magnus off lane. The blink range especially i find important. I like how you buy Wraith band and bracer, I usually just go one bracer but i think i can stomp lane harder with this build you do.
You lost because they have to much tankiness in their team and you don't have damage dealers. Riki is good against squishy heroes, but who's going to kill pudge, undying, morph, and earthshaker? That is similar problem I face with Magnus. In late game you can only blink, stun and skewer, and if you don't have damage dealers like PA, Witch Doctor, Lich, or some other "high damage to all heroes in a small time frame" hero, you pretty much lose.
I will stand by all your claims of being the best. Just not on Magnus man. Not while Ar1se and collapse still live. Also would rather you get force over aether lens. The item just offers so much more. U used skewer to run multiple times and didn't have it for when u needed it. Force is just too good on mag. Repositioning and re-engaging or escaping. Mag likes to keep going in and out

1.38 you can agro creep from top enemy icon if they visible in map by click A attack on their icon
What do you think about right click build for magnus (blink harpoon bkb daedalus) vs utility (scepter aether)

Yeah that's why i always blame afk farming radince as mid Necro mid instead of playing active early with my blink
