Some guys use brown rice as a mix on day of shipping because they say it holds water.
What are your thoughts on that ?

Hi Eddie I would say as long as they drink sufficient water to hydrate the rice after eating it , could well be a good thing,but if water is not available or treated with some product that forces the birds to drink less du to the taste,then it could be a disastrous move

Hi David….how do you get protein into your pigeons to build up muscle again after a race ? I remember seeing a Richard Turner video….. but is that no longer thought necessary?

I,dont add any extra protiens until over 350 or so ,unless they have had a hard race
