The baby wouldn't know, or babies wouldn't go for daddy's nipples if they happen to be close by. I don't dispute that all of this is strange to us and messy still, because there are no established pathways. The problem I have is the refusal to consider that this is a woman. And the biggest problem here are women's rights militant women of my age. This is not a new thing. We have evidence for transgender people from the dawn of civilization. In some cultures, they are revered. Here they are vilified. How are we going to find real solutions when so many people are refusing to even consider the premise? Either you won't be able to support this child, or you are once more endangering so many people towards suicide at the worst or a life in deep depression at the best. Why all the hate?
