She passed just like I thought.
Don't get me wrong, this girl has many bad habits. But like it or not she does what is required of her to pass. She drives more like an experienced driver who's way too relaxed behind the wheel than a plucky new driver whose instructor taught them how to drive with "proper form" so you could say.

You don't need to push the handbrake in when you're lifting it up, it's not going to cause any undue wear. Instructor is wrong on this one.

Technically, the answer is yes, it does cause damage or wear. However, the wear is so small as to be completely insignificant
