Well done. Good tip one the sand paper. I use 3 spray lubes. PB Blaster, Lithium and WD40 (I use it less now) . Can you believe I don't have a dead blow yet!!! Bruce
Bruce Pender I've got three cans of WD40 here and they moved with me 15 years ago. I only use them when I am needing to dry out something in a pinch. I've yet to pick up WD's new "lubricant/penetrating oil". Too little too late maybe? I guess all the years of preaching about WD not being a lubricant has set me on high alert with their products. Thing is, it's not their fault...it's the users of WD that turned it into an improperly advertised wonder fluid. Yes...it stops squeaks...until it evaporates. Yes, it penetrates....to remove moisture, but not as a release agent. There IS a place for WD40, but it's no PB Blaster! ;-)
Typically, I use it inside fuel tanks that I've cleaned out and will be sitting a while before use, but...I've since discovered a Stabil product that I'm liking a lot. It's an engine storage fogging formula that protects from rust for indefinite lengths of storage time. I may do a review on it after I've put it to the test, but it's the only Stabil product I use. Seafoam has taken its place in all applicable situations and then some.
That's OK Bruce neither do I, Anoither good one Zip, as you know I like to use my bearing separator set to pull everything. I just like to make sure I get an even pressure on the ubder surface, and don't nuck the suface of the hub up. On some of the newr all plastic wheels the two and three jaw pullers will tear into the plastic.
GrincheyOne That is very true Grinchy my good friend! In those cases, I have a split washer set that I put under the steering wheel before the jaw type puller is used. I HAVE damaged many plastic steering wheels in the past before I found these wonder washers. Happy Trails! Zip~

exactly. Don't use it on garage door rollers.
