Had a similar problem on N893UA United A319 from Chicago O Hare to Rapid City except had a engine hung start as we were taxing on the runway as they were trying to start the number 2 engine. Also the fasten seatbelt and no smoking signs were flickering and the PTU also went crazy.
The Flight Attendant making the announcements has the voice of a tough gal who could beat your @$$. "If you choose another airline, I will find you and make you wish you flew with my airline!"😂
