"Somewhere To Hide" is about moments that are so drastic that they can´t be put into words. A situation in which it seems impossible to feel the present or to go into the future
while the world keeps on turning.
The only thing that remains is the saving escape to the past - Memories can bring relief.
Daydreaming about memories enables a process that opens our minds and allows us to recreate things.
Perhaps best of all, it also allows us to complete the unfinished in our own way.
The song begins with a dreamy pulsating flute , which is gradually joined by many small fragments of voice, violin and piano.
The powerful but at the same time relaxed beat pushes itself under the pads in a cub-lounge feel until the refrain. The Refrain explosively marks the middle of the song and surprises as a powerful trip-hop. Finally, the song ends as it began and dissolves with a gentle fade-out.
