We hope it does not come to troops but our hope is big also that you will unite and more politicians like Romney can do something good. We got nuts politicians too. Not like Trump though , kind of had some dude 75 years ago. Who wanted to make us great. Thank god and you it did not come to that. I dont think that you guys will put Trump into power again. It would be much worse. We try our best and like I said dont let us done >>> please.

The Germans living under the Weimar Republic were drowning in out-of-control inflation and sending huge parts of their income to pay reparations for WWI. They were desperate people who were willing to cling to absurd ideas, (as desperate people do). The average American enjoys an income that is significantly higher than most of the developed world. We enjoy the most diverse economy that has ever existed, the world's currency, the best universities... (list goes on). But the media have convinced the average American that they have it rough, that they are the ones suffering and that the only thing standing between them and the happiness that they deserve is the political opposition. They don't know true desperation, but they make choices as if they do.

If you had paid attention in history class, you would already have known that answer. The Weimar Republic was a failed state after WWI. People were burning pallets of money to keep warm because the wood was worth a lot more than the money was. In the midst of this chaos, a small group promised to make things better. Their leader managed to blackmail the dying elected President of the republic into appointing him Chancellor, and from that bully pulpit he was able to convince a lot of people that everything would be fine if it weren't for one particular group of people, and that by sanctioning, locking up, and ultimately eliminating these people, the government would thrive.

He did make them pay their agreed upon rate for our services at 2% of GDP. Romney apparently was OK with NATO NAtions shucking responsibility for their bill onto American taxpayers. The bad people in the Republican Party of Trumpism era are now labeling the Reagan Republicans as being "RINO"s. We Reagan Republicans had the Motto "Character Counts!" The Trumpists who have taken over the party are completely blind; they cannot see how bad Trump is for America and for the entire world. They are too busy worshipping their leader. They can't even see that Trump is showing symptoms of dementia; they prefer to speak that way about Biden.
The Trumpists don't read much. If they read, it's only for entertainment or comic books. Reagan Republicans will read and learn.
Reagan Republicans read the books and the articles and the reports where those who worked with Trump, especially in the White House, reveal what kind of President he really was. He was not an achiever; he *took credit for the hard work of those around him, who kept bailing the water while Trump was trying to sink* the ship! !!!
Trump is a DESTROYER! This is something the Trump followers will never see, since they are in the trap called "The Psychopathic Bond."
If Trump gets the nomination, he will fail. There are far too many respected Republicans who are warning against re-electing Trump. The TV Ads will scroll the names of more 100 Republican officials who will be voting for anyone who can stop Trump.
The Trumpists should wake up, but they really truly can't see; they are in a Cult with all the Cult behaviors, and reason cannot reach them. Trump is a Sociopath and his followers cannot comprehend the words of the psychologists who are warning us who he is. When a Cultist hears warnings all the warnings sound "incomprehensible" or like "confusion." This is a big red Flag: a brainwashed person can only hear opposing words as "confusing." It's one of the symptoms of being brainwashed.

different times, careful evoking history to argue ideological precedent. In the decades following the war against the British for Colonial Independence, the French were no closer allies than they were when there was stalemate for the frontier in the New World between France and Britain all throughout the 1700s. It should also be mentioned, we strengthened ties to Britain and all but retained them as our primary ally for trade.

    • @froglady7491
      @froglady7491 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

France helping the Colonies during the Revolutionary War is a bit different than the US supporting Ukraine.
The Colonies were not a sovereign state at the time, they were part of Britain. This would be more in tune if the two eastern provinces declared a war of independence against Ukraine. They did not, and in fact were negotiating an agreement with UKraine for more independence, without separation.
France had no stake in the outcome. The Colonies would not become part of France. But they did want to breakup the power base that England held. The US also has no stake, we will not gain any territory if we help. But Russia has a huge stake. They will gain territory equal to some or all of Ukraine. This territory will solidify their annexation of the Crimea and give them a greater presence in the Black Sea. It will also open the door to attack Moldova and the Baltic States, restart their attack on Georgia, and perhaps even try for Poland.
Second, France had no obligation to help the Colonies. In fact, if it helped us and we lost, Britain might turn its forces on France. But the US does have an obligation to help Ukraine. We have recognized Ukraine as a sovereign nation since 1991 and while Ukraine is not a NATO country yet, if it falls, there is a very good possibility that Russia will continue to try for other sovereign countries who ARE NATO members.
Third, we are supposed to be the leader of the free world. Do we stand strong or do we become cowards and give up on democracy? Do we let China or Russia take over the leadership position, knowing that neither have a democratic government.

I think it's the other way around.
It’s Romney who hates Donald Trump because he is jealous of all of his achievements. and how popular he is worldwide.
Romney is angry because his dream of becoming president of the United States was dashed.
He is very envious because an envious person does not want what you have. He doesn't want you to have it either. also to be u. religious the bad example of him. because Jesus taught to forgive and love our enemies. and we can all see his hatred for Trump. He also did not criticize Biden for the union speech. when I speak in favor of abortion. but it does support more money for the war in Ukraine. But he did criticize for not agreeing to raise taxes on the rich and millionaires. He's just looking out for his pocket. It is seen that he loves silver very much, it is the root of all evil.

I've been a Conservative for my entire 44 years on this earth, and a Republican for most of that until the mid-2010s. Conservatives act like America is a Theocracy now, but then vote for a hypocritical lying tyrant like Trump at the same time. Also at no time do they act conservative, Money is spent left and right by the republican party, and yet none of it goes to help to the American public who's taxes support their spending. Democrats spend way to much money, Republicans are supposed to be there to compromise and stop the spending, but that's not how the new Republican party works, they claim to be conservative but spend just as much money as the Democrats do, but in less helpful, and more anti-American ways.
I'm ashamed of my party, and so are many other Republicans. This new-conservatism is dividing the party and will end up destroying it.

Comparing Biden and Trump on character? Romney speaks in a nice and clear manner but what he says is not making any logical sense to me …. Mind blowing 😮 Amazing! Can Romney truly believe what he just said??!!

They tried to kill Ronald Reagan. They killed Robert Kenedy. They had a liberal actor kill Abe Lincoln. Democrat's party began in 1829. Since then, they have been around and caused nothing but divide and chaos in this nation, then blame us.

I remember hearing a number of conservatives who said that they thought Romney would make a good President but the Tea Party era forced him into having to be this jerk.
I doubted that narrative back then, after all, he had kind of a Gordon Gekko vibe.
Then Trump came along and I realized they were right.

R better than T is not much of an endorsement. When looking at candidates, it’s important to look at their characters and votes. Where did they stand, what did they do, who and what are they?
Vote. Be an informed voter. As a senior citizen, I want to know if a candidate wants to butcher SS. Will the IRS be funded? Will Head Start be funded? Will safety be funded? ACA?
Will women’s right over her own body be codified? And the character of the candidate matters.
