In this key, it's the anthem of glory / victory to me. Conjures images of winning something huge. Beautiful performance. Bravo.
i found this by accident i love this so much i really wanted canon in d to be my wedding march ( i know its cliche..but ive loved canon in d since i was like 5..im 21 almost 22 now ) i think ive found the perfect song to walk down the aisle to!

Shanelle Sullivan wow 5? I like your ambitions! Maybe you can use Canon in F# instead of Canon D xD. I find F# (my version sound) more uplifting and has more meaning xD. Where as D has more of a classical feel. I can tell you're a person of dreams and ambitions.
Music is so weird. It's amazing how a song can follow the exact same chord progression and just be changed to a different key and it can totally change the feel of it. I find this to quite cheery and uplifting, yet some variations almost bring me to tears. Music's affects on the brain are unexplainable.
