Roddy's career should have been hitting it's hights at at this point.... I really don't think he has made the most of his wonderful talent, for whatever reason.
While fellow postcard records buddy Edwyn Collins got a smash hit with A Girl Like You and Nme lauded it Roddy released Frestonia. The Oasis rollercoaster was in full swing and everybody bar his die hard fans shrugged his last Aztec album. Shame but he came back with the unbelievable North Star solo album.

Artistically I d say it was a success. Many shite albums have sold millions . If you would like Roddy to do what Travis or Coldplay do …..
