But he did something unusual. He used a "diss" track something that usually has a negative connotation and flipped it on it's head to spread wisdom and positivity. Proving that he is what he speaks about even during this tumultuous situation. Dissing human's decision to spread hate, look in the mirror don't become a casualty of vanity. Many were probably upset with Dotta. However it's thanks to Dotta that we were able to see this new side of Ren and receive his speech at the end. Many thanks to Ren, Knox, and Dotta for participating in the spirit of competition. No matter who you think won. We are the real winners. We leave with better understanding and outlook. This world will consume you if you stand idly by and let it chew you up. YOU choose which lenses to view things through, that's just human decision.

Hey! Nice commentary! After responding to Knox in his last track, King Dotta just put out a track called, “Thank You.” Yesterday, he also posted a message showing gratitude for the RENegade love and celebrating 3K subscribers (approximately tripled thanks to Ren). I subbed and listened to some of his tracks. I’m not a big rap fan in general, but a few of them were really appealing, especially those with him rapping over jazzy/blues type tracks and one where he pays tribute to a friend. But, I can’t get behind some of the cliche homophobic and misogynistic raps (e.g. see his tik tok posts). Much of it seems like dark humor, but in the current climate of hate and fear-mongering toward the LGBTQ+ community and women’s autonomy over their own bodies literally being stripped away across the states, that shit gets under my skin quick… King Dotta is clearly talented and now that he has a larger audience, I hope he will follow the model of people like Ren, Mackelmore (e.g. Same Love 🏳️🌈) and hip hop’s Queen (Latifa, that is! 😉). to use his platform to spread U.N.I.T.Y!!
