Some villages are recorded in the wrong taluk or hobli. For example, Sulikunte is in Bangalore East but is recorded under Anekal.
Many survey numbers only have parts, but the list only mentions which parts in some cases.
Some rows of the list may be missing village numbers due to printing issues.
Most of the maps published by the revenue department are in PDF format, but the maps of almost all the villages with illegal layouts are in hand-drawn PDF format with Kannada numbering.
Illegal layouts refer to agricultural land that have been converted into residential ones without following proper steps
Land which is sub-divided into plots without permission from Competent Authority. b) Sub-division of land and sale of plots without approval from the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Urban Development Authorities and Metropolitan Development Authority as the case maybe.
