I want to know how you can tell which peaches are dry and which ones are juicy? I really prefer the juicy ones so it's frustrating when shopping and picking out the ones I think are going to be juicy only to be disappointed with dry ones. I even learned to detect all the signs of a juicy peach- yellow golden color, a wrinkled stem, and the softness.

Dry or firm like you say just mean it needs to ripen up for a few days
My peaches are not that big, but do you net them to keep the birds out? or are birds a minor problem and lastly do spray them. I do not spray them.
