No need to book. You can go directly and buy Annaprasana ticket in temple counter itself. It'll be around 250rupees, and it's done only before 11:30. So it's better to go early morning. You need not carry any thing they will provide everything, if you want you can take silver bowl to feed baby otherwise they will only provide. And about Particular day, there's nothing as such, after 6 months any time you can do it's up to your choice. But we did on full moon day.
