Contrary to the news, anyone with money in the money market fund has never lost a penny. The fund that is all over the news was not regulated by Capital markets authority which gave the company an opportunity to adjust the timelines depending on their liquidity status which is the problem you've heard about..but their MMF has always been regulated and is safe
