Besides re-rolling 1’s, Americans can use marching fire. Which would have improved Andre’s assault into the grove (basically would have either doubled his attack dice or let him roll 2d6 to move. Though I’m not sure how the leaders’ command points would work on a 3 team squad for that.
34:27 at that point Andre I’m guessing was so regretting not bringing a Crocodile. If you want to dig a entrenched enemy like that out, just light up the trees around them and either watch as whoever’s caught comes running out on fire towards you or sits in their holes and dies of smoke insulation or just passed out from the heat. Also Andre, the counter attack coming up was a success for the USMC. They completely wiped out the entirety of Japanese Armoured Strength on Sipan on that single night. May I suggest their good old tactic of brining a lot of bazookas and making sure they keep their heads down inside their fox holes and popping up just behind the tanks and setting them alight with a shot to the back
When Andre interrupted the Banzai Charge I yelled "YIPEE"! But when he said he was interrupting with the 50 Cal i yelled "NOOOOOO"! 10 shots v about 16 or so from the Squad (rerolling 1s) probably would have done more harm :)
Hi Guys, Normally I really enjoy the games but not so these, time was of the essence in these battles, however we have phase after phase where troops are not being whilst waiting for the 'correct' die to be achieved, sorry very slow with little happening.
In a campaign where loses count that is often what happens. In a one-off game it is easier to throw away the lives of your men since winning or losing doesn't matter. And it is not as easy to move these guys around as you think.
A Normal AT Team would Move 1 D6 (not required in your case) deploy the charge, then move 1 D6 away from the Target. Again,.. ambushing team so they simply "depart the scene'

Check Your Leader TV but the 50 does reduce cover. So it probably evened out in the end. But a bad roll
Tabletop CP I did consider that but the squad with the Jnr Leaders SMG thrown in for good measure probably would have been a lot of dice 🤔
