for python specifically I would highly recommend Harvard's CS50 (yes, _The_ Harvard) which is a free online resource that all freshman's in computer science at Harvard have to complete. Its taught by Professor David Malan. He is a fantastic Computer Scientist and Professor.

I am confused about which technology to choose, as there are so many things nowadays , I don't even know which technologies I should check out .
