I got a new san disk 32 gb memory card at a little cheaper price than others. When I connected it to a computer it showed 32 gb capacity but its size was only 109 mb . I tried formatting multiple times and added large files to it but yet it stored them. But when I tried opening that files it showed an error message.

32gb Memory card maine Samsung ka khrida tha usme format krne se→kuch size nhi ghta tha pr data corrupt ho jata tha, aur ab to memory card koi response hi nhi deta. I've read ki memory card ki life cycle Puri hone pr data read only ho jata h pr wo read bhi nhi hota.

If you look at the packaging of the pendrive/hdd , you may find a disclaimer that says that the manufacturer assumes the following: 1 GigaByte(GB) = 10^9 bytes
By the above logic on the pendrive 16 GB = 16 * 10^9 bytes
While actually 1 GigaByte(GB) = 2^30 bytes , where 1 KB =2^10 bytes , 1MB = 2^10 KB and 1GB=2^10 MB.
So actually the pendrive capacity in GB :
Actual capacity in GB= 16 * (10^9) / (2^30) = 14.9 GB
@5:56 : it shows error because pen-drive is by default FAT format. simply format it using NTFS format and it will allow you to copy larger file. (Fat supports max 4GB size file to copy) .

if it is FAT16 partition, it will allow max 2GB. But as per previous comment calculation 1.86GB approx). I am not saying that you can not convert fake 8gb to 16 gb. I just wanna trying to convey that this is not the correct way to identify if it is original or not.

Acha computer sy main ny 22 gb sy zayada data card me copy kia hoa hai. but jab moble me dal k koi cheez b copy karta hon to FAILED TO MOVE FOLDER YA PIC ka option a jata hai. main ny us ko format fat32 softwear sy partion b ki ha 2 martba. magar wo mobile me dal k nahi chal raha. kia j7prime spurt nahi karta ya koi aur masla hai.
