Our group enjoyed this game (I have all TR editions) This is the game where you want to chat, laugh and play at the same time, and not to take the game too seriously. Not all situations dictate serious approach to gameplay. Personally sometimes I feel like Ark Nova, or better still "On Mars" but there are days where I am fine with TR Dice Roll... depends on the mood. This game is perfect to "hook" non gamers on trying original TR in the future. I am happy that this edition exists.

Thank you for sharing this! Yes not all games are serious. I guess if it's really based on luck then if its a quick game thats fine too. Back to TM Dice, it's a great game to introduce TM to newer beginner players!

Great video as always. I really enjoy this game.
I think Ares Expedition with the expansion that adds milestones is my favorite. I haven’t played Terraforming Mars board game with the expansions yet, but I own the base game and do enjoy it.
What I like about the dice game is the same theme and experience, but the ability to roll some dice. I like having lots of different options!

I really enjoy the mechanics of Aries Expedition.
Fingers crossed, they come out with an expansion that adds meaningful placement on the board.
It's the only thing I feel that's lacking from that addition.

Hi again, was nice to meet you and briefly say hi at the Cancon games library. I've played both the base game and the dice game. They both look the same (the dice game looks like a mini-me version of TM). I enjoy them both, will be easier to get TDG to the table, for us at least. Will be interesting to see if they follow it up with some expansions.

I enjoy the dice game. I agree that it feels more like it’s big brother than Ares Expedition. I like that the board is back as I really missed it in AE. I was also not a fan of the simultaneous play in AE. But I think I’m in the minority on that opinion.
The dice game gives me the feeling of playing Terraforming Mars in a fraction of the time. It is quite a bit faster than even Ares Expedition.

Yes, the board hehe. I also enjoy AE, just not the same feeling as the other TM, tho dont mind simultenaous action selection.

Hmm, I like the look of this but I doubt it would replace the base game on my shelf. I don't have any expansions yet. Still building a base game collection.
So you now avoid dice games, Stella? I just bought Axis and Allies. That's heavy on dice. Be great if you guys had a video on that.

Hi Adrian! We're happy to keep both base and TM Dice.
Haha, depending on the game, if the cooperative dice rolling game, that's fine ;P
If it's heavily based on dice roll luck and it's a long game with no mitigation, then maybe no hahaha.
Axis and Allies we haven't played yet, haven't played lots of wargames.
