dude the part where he was talking about it kind of feeling primal is spot on because there are certain parts throughout the entire album but specifically the opener and closer that i’ve been saying make me feel like i’m in a jungle in the movie jumanji. SO GOOD!
So I've known about Waterparks for like 3-4 years now and liked some of their songs, but I only got INTO them last week because I saw them live. Watching these interviews is so inspiring to me because Awsten reminds me of myself so much and it's really comforting to see someone who thinks in a similar way to me. The way he writes his lyrics is the way that I wish I write mine. This interview has given me so many tips on how to write what FEELS good and not what I want others to like. loved hearing u talking about having physical reactions to songs bc i’m the exact same way when hearing songs and especially w crying over it all i still get Chills every single time the chorus comes in it’s insane and so cool to hear others have that same experience! if a song is good i usually get insane chills but that song still does it every time

I got the tickets for her birthday and wrapped them and stuff. We have an inside joke where we sing "I've got some fruit by the food if you wanna come over" So I incorporated that into it. I pack almost two boxes of fruit roll ups in the box and put the ticket it. I thought it was cute and she loved it.
