Very cool, the hitchhiker won’t cut the rope! Also impressed by the stevedoor but look at its arrangement. When is hitchhiker x on the market? Be well Richard
Is the shackle the Singing Tree Quickie? That seems to have been unavailable for a long time. Trying to decide between getting your Hitch Hiker X vs the Rope Wrench. Thoughts/advice? WR costs less, but I like the compactness of the HHX. How does smoothness on ascent and descent compare as well as tending on coming in from limb walk?
It is not a Quickie but it is a shackle with the 2 plunger SlicPin. One must compare cost, eye2eye vs plain cordage for replacement, the HHx is everything you need. I think there are advantages, more compact and the primary friction does not have to reach over the hitch to perform. That is just some of what I find advantages.
@@RichardMumford1 I will be using my hitch hiker x in the field doing actual tree service work 4 days a week climbing , not just recreation climbing will see how it holds up
Hey man Donatione one of the hhx's instead of braking them all. ..lol as desperate as I am for tools and gear this is hard to watch.... Richard Mumford keepe in mind. 30955 curry St Gold Beach, OR,97444 alderslayer199@gmail.com
That was absolutely the best and most knowledge you could give for the hitchhiker💯
That is a great product
“I can’t just leave that thing unbroken. Come on now.”
