This brings back memories of my childhood. I’m 80 years old and find myself getting more nostalgic for a time that was slower and there was a sense of optimism for the future.
Anytime I want to feel my mother and the warmth of treasured memories of her and my youth, I stop here. Smiling big. It's been 28 years. And though I can smile and think of the joy this music brought her as she sang along, the missing of those days roll down my cheeks. Beautiful channel. Thank you ~♡
Oh wow, this actually brings back memories of my time working in Europe (especially at 3:01). I was invited to a Christmas party where I may have had a bit too much to drink. It had such a wonderful atmosphere, but the longer I stayed, the more I found myself missing my family and friends back home. I decided to step outside for some fresh air, and that's when I noticed it had started snowing. I could hear the cheerful music from inside the house, and at that moment, standing at the doorstep, I couldn't help but shed a tear because I felt so lonely.
I am 14 years old and have been surrounded by my cell phone my entire life. I don’t have many friends and I spend a lot of time alone so I rely on the internet for companionship. I was in a really bad place mentally and this video made me feel so nostalgic and happy from when my mom wasn’t even born yet. It made me realize how simple life is and that we should enjoy the simple pleasures. If you are reading this and you are in a bad place, know that you are loved and needed in this world.
