- Tear down/dismantle | Samsung Gear IconX 2018, shows how to open up the IconX released in 2018, these buds by Samsung have 4 screws holding the black plastic holder which the buds rest on when charging and 2 screws holding the circuit board down.

Do you have a link for where to purchase the battery?
If you don't close the case, but push the cover a little bit, the magnet will stop it and when you push the button to open now it will push up the cover up again.
Is it possible to repair the left bud the volumen is low
Can I open the case and dry it out? Mine was saved washed and it seems damaged. It's not showing any light and also, not closing the Bluetooth 😩😩
Yes i would open it and dry it out...see if that sorts it out
@@OmarrGhafoor I unfortunately put mine through the was a couple of days ago. Have just found your video and managed to pull it apart. I don't know if it is damaged or not though. Gonna let it dry out for the rest of the day, then see if I can potentially get it working again.

I dont think Samsung sell the parts but you could go on ebay and see if someone is selling the case

Yes i suppose you could but it would be a tight fit. If i was going to upgrade the battery i would look at the dimensions of other batteries to check if they would fit

Hi i have icon x 2018 model earphone ....but lost my charging box....i am getting it online in 40$ ....but i am dicey to buy it....as i have questions in my mind ....that will my earphone work with new charging case....or i am getting complete earphone in 60$.....will both pair of headphone work in same charging case?
Its difficult to say without checking the earphones with someone elses charging case, in theory your earpbuds should work as its the earphones that connect to your phone but the charging case also has a button to turn on the discovery mode so you can pair with different devices, i personally would NOT risk it.
Is there a water indicator to see if there's been any water damage
From what i can remember there were no water damage indicators

Hi im using galaxy iconx 2018 ear buds from 2018 and not having issue any until today.....I dont know what happened with it....when iam charging after sometime the lights on earbuds charger showing green and even in galaxy wearable app showing as green....but after 5 to 10 min one of bud means right ear bud suddenly disconnecting and then its showing empty battery....I kept it in charging earbud box like couple of minutes and then I took it back to listen.
Then itw showing battery that left and working for another few minutes....uts keep on doing like this and I dont know what to do from my side.....could you please help me how to resolve this issue
The case lid no longer closes due to absolute SHIT plastic design.. the plastic just wears away and now it wont close to charge. Simple answer, don't buy these overpriced pieces of shit.
How is this guy just tugging on the main PCB like it's nothing
