A great thing you will find with the CFA cards , is the downloading is million times faster than SD cards . It just zooms along , way faster than XQD cards too.
@@davidmorefield The first time I down loaded them I thought something was wrong and that I hadn't recorded the whole interview , so fast , worth it for that alone . I recommend looking into the Falcam F50 QR plate. I haven't found a manfrotto style plate it cant grab onto. Plus its much quicker on and off the tripod. Great job on the commercials. I always have to hunt down the completed works too. Just part of the game!
@@FilmedByHendrix This is Adam’s manfrotto plate. I was definitely scared the entire time haha. The factory plate which is still on my camera, locks perfectly. It’s great to see that a commercial actually worked well for their marketing dollars!
You need to use the top/side loading plate that comes with the E-Image GH06, then it will catch on the safety lock. Looks like you were using a different plate

How's the autofocus on the sigma? When I pick up my fx3, I'm thinking about getting the new Sigma 24-70 II. I like the Sony GM, but I'd rather not spend the extra $1,000 if I don't have to, I would much rather pick up a 70-200 as a second lens... for something just as good. -- Also would love to see a review down the line about the CF express cards, they are on my list as well.
@@ty-k6708 honestly I didn’t stress test the autofocus much. It was just these simple interviews on sticks. The gmii is expensive but I really like this lens. It’s light, small and has an iris ring. Autofocus is really good. Yeah, I will definitely share my thoughts on CFexpress.
@@davidmorefield Cool. Maybe then I'll just bite the bullet and go GM glass. I can always get the 70-200 GM mark I. Still a good lens and it's a lot less than the 70-200 GM II. - Thanks.
I have Impact and Matthews/American. You def get what you pay for. I use the Impact for little light things like holding my wireless receiver bar that holds four receivers. But for lights and real use, American or Matthews are the gold standard. MSE and Norms are decent too.
@ I’ve made it work for years with impact, neewer, and cowboy studio stands. But once I bought a Matthew’s stand again recently, I remembered why I never saw those brands back in the day when I ran a grip truck. I’ll be sticking to premium brands from now on. They really are just better. Would I recommend a client build out their home studio with premium stands over impact or kupo? Probably not. But for me, I’m paying the extra ~48%. My 2 cents, but you're making your client overcomplicate and spend unnecessary money on that green screen setup. If there's house power, use that, no need for the expensive vmounts and charger setup especially with it being a fixed setup that isn't being transported or needing remote power.
@@garrettgoerlvisuals my idea is if we have batteries then I can quickly relocate stands and lights without plugging in. But I think I can go with a mix of our approaches, keep the lights set for the green screen on house power and the lights for the subject (weather they are at green screen or kitchen or living room in battery power. This client is really particular. While it might be overkill, I think they would pay for the convenience of battery.
I just started making vlogs on youtube, what advice do you have to grow my audience and eventually make some money off of it? I would love to just be in the position that you are in to make some side income.
@@potatosack-lol My advice is to authentically be yourself. That will establish trust with your audience. If they can sense you faking it, then it feels like disingenuous.
