Man life is bittersweet. So glad that you are happy and healthy. I hope you're able to get the watch fixed. It's a beauty.

Hey just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed your videos last couple of years. Informative and entertaining. Thank you. I know how it is when different stages of life show up so just wanted to say thanks

Glad you are well buddy. Man last time you released your 57GS video I released one shortly after. And now this 56ks. Well guess what, I just finished filming my 56KS. lol We are kindred seikofans.

Happy to know you are well considering all those events. I suspect your watch has a loose cannon pinion at least, seeing how the hands are moving when you push/pull the crown and also that date changing at a differnet time each time. It could explain why it looses so much time. Check if the second hand is keeping good time. If it's the case, you have a loose cannon pinion (which is not that hard to fix for a watchmaker or for an amateur like us, but with the correct tool)

I was worried about you after hearing about the fires. I wasn't sure of your exact location.
Great to see another video 🎉

That's about what I would expect with a watch of this age. I recently restored a childhood watch I lost as a teen: 90s Movado Museum. The dial and hands were misaligned. Debris all under the crystal. Scratched to hell. I resolved all those issues, and it's helping me relive the 90s as a kid. I'd risk it all for an old 62MAS or Sub, either from Tudor or Rolex. Nice to see you again. Can't wait to see this piece sorted out.

I have bought a 50 year old tissot that immediately needed service when I got it, but it was only 50 bucks on eBay. Hopefully you didn’t pay too much

Good to see you not crispy and all your armfur still in tact! Love the Civic btw, great to see it in a "not molten" state, my own lovely EK is slowly returning to dust, heart revs still like new but the rear wheel arches are making their own vents, awesome rear brake cooling nowadays but I need to learn welding very soon. Yours looks so shiny shiny bling bling.
The King Seiko is just the opposite of my crusty EK, looks great but it's inside needs some work, hope they fix it soon. Looking forward to your full review of the KS.
It can take a while (that's what she said...) but Kurt is always coming... back. ;) Good to see you man!

I always wanted to compensate myself for never getting a decent watch for my bar mitzva. So several years ago (5 or 6) I started browsing e-bay for a Seiko circa 1968. Finally I found a Lord Seiko from Japan. I don't know if it was serviced before it was shipped to me, but as far as it's working condition - it's perfect, no issues at all. I am very lucky, I guess.

Hey man, just came back to your channel after getting out of watches for a few years to explore other hobbies. Glad to see you're still kickin it, man. I have so many good memories of watching your videos in college after getting into watches. I love your videos and just remembered you and came back to say Hi. You're just chill as fuck and seem like we'd get along well haha. Keep it up, man. :)

I think in a way you were lucky because a watch of that age probably needs a service and now you get one for free, or just the cost of postage if you had to pay.

I miss the check the lume song ❤😅 maybe this have hacking, but a lot of vintage watches dont have that!
Hope to see more videos from you! It is darker days and soon very boring winter in Norway! So i need watch reviews 😊

If you want a vintage watch...please visit web stores from watchmakers that do YT content. They repair and service the watch on camera. Usually they have a store.
One of the best that I've seen is Vintage Watch Repair
For $1k you have serviced original that is checked by a professional (who does YT ok- you see a service), with high rez multiple pic with opened movement, case back underside with reference codes and specs.
These Watch guys are an absolute joke. Even their name is just not the place where I would give $2k-4k for a watch.
I mean, how many watches do they sell... if they didn't know that this one performs so badly, especially with the date?
Now, the watch needs to go back. They gonna give it another service... It so bad. This is not the way.
They are so great.. they responded immediately...yeah no shit.
    Unacceptable

Oh, and don't simp too much on the girl ok.
I got spammed by putting a web link. My bad.

Glad you're doing good but I have heard some pretty disturbing stuff about what is going on in Lahaina with people being arrested for filming, people burning boats that are docked & anchored and the governor apparently wanting to seize the land? WTF is going on there because no one seems to be talking about it in the mainstream news at all!

These are the Seikos that were scaring the Swiss so badly that they stopped doing Chronometer competitions. Cant have Japanese watches be more accurate than Swiss.
